What a great experience it's been running my small business! I've learnt a lot, and I've enjoyed spreading the joy by sending Joyful Moments and Flowerboxes all over the UK 🎁🥰

However, you may have noticed I've been quiet on here lately. My health condition means I am constantly evaluating where to use my precious energy. In recent months life has got busier, and new opportunities have arisen. For this reason I have decided to close Joyful Moments for now, and focus on things that are more important to me ❤️

One year ago today Joyful Moments opened for business! 🎁🥰

I'm so happy with how my little business venture has gone, and I'm grateful to everyone who has supported me with purchases, social media engagement and suggestions. Thank you to you all! 🤗

The last eighteen months have been a time of new beginnings for me, as I left my job due to my energy limiting chronic illness , and tried to figure out what my life and work would look like moving forward.

Initially I was able to do a little teaching online, but as we have come out of lockdown life has got busier, and so I'm using my limited "social energy" for things that are more important. That means I don't have energy left for regular work that involves interaction with people.

Enter Joyful Moments! Designing and packing gift boxes is a different kind of energy, and so I am able to fit it around the more important things in my life. It's a happiness to me to do something enjoyable and creative while earning a little money. Every Joyful Moment is sent with love - I hope 188 orders means 188 smiles on recipients faces 🥰

So thank you once again for all your support, I appreciate it so much 🤗

Due to Royal Mail strike action over the next few months, deliveries are likely to be significantly delayed. Royal Mail are prioritising their Tracked 24 service - although delays are still likely, this will be the fastest and most reliable delivery option, so unless you're happy to wait a long time for delivery I would strongly recommend paying extra for Tracked 24 at checkout.

Unfortunately I had to refuse - I run my small business to fit around my chronic illness, and making that many flowers and boxes in one go would be too much for me to handle 🥴
