We have just finished designing our ‘baby on board’ car decals. They are 15cms x 15cms and fit perfectly on the back on car windows.

End of last year I had the privilege of designing (not the main back logo) and printing some amazing jumpers, shirts and hats for Moontide fishing show on Maori TV.
Was so nerve racking but very exciting for Kawariki and Co!

This year for Christmas I wanted to think outside of the box and make gifts. My nana is amazing with a sewing machine! So I decided to make personalised blankets. I picked the material, she brought the blanket to life and I finished it off with a cute name decal.

I am obsessed with how they turned out! My brothers family lives and breathes the ocean this is a perfect themed blanket for my nephew Heremia 🐳

Wasn’t planning on pulling out the emergency kit today. But Kawarikis Micky Button popped for what feels like the 100th time. You only have so long until the hole starts to close up, your on a time limit to get the Mickey back in so you can stick to his feeding times.
Now we wait for the nurse to hopefully come around if not another trip to Starship to get another Mickey button in (I’m not confident in putting them back in just yet) then we watch the next feed to make sure it’s positioned properly and then life can go back to normal :)

My life revolves around Kawariki. Being able to stop working and resume when I need to means everything to me. I’m so thankful for all the support you guys give us! Your orders mean I can keep working and stay sane, plus be there for Awa and my other boys when they need me.

Receiving this message last night made all the long nights and stressful days worth it. Starting a business in the middle of lockdown, having all 4 boys at home, trying to homeschool and keep on top of running our home - it was hard. People called me crazy! But I knew what I wanted to do, which was to help others in similar situations to ours and that’s exactly what we are doing. 🌿

This little boy is the reason behind the meaning of our name and why 10% of our sales will go towards helping other NZ families with Tubie dependents.

I have been going back and forth whether I take the leap, invest in a business adventure that I feel really passionate about whilst also giving back and helping the tube feeding community in Aotearoa.

It’s taken a few months, but here we are! About to launch ‘KAWARIKI AND CO.’
