Believers correct your kids, too. Don't let them not speak in the household of faith, and they have been there since birth. Don't let them mow the elders because their impulse says they can. Teach to respect, too! Hold the door for the eighty-year-old and ask if they can help the seventy-year-old clean up; training is all-around!

Beginning in the 2024-25 school year, we will be using the ACT as the federally required science accountability assessment for Grade 11. This move reduces the amount of time students spend taking standardized tests, because 11th graders will no longer have to take a separate science test. The state administration of the ACT will include English, mathematics, reading, science, and writing.

You can learn more about our transition to ACT on the FAQ we've posted on our website: https://okt.to/kypSYg

When it comes to the legal age of leaving a kid home alone, Illinois has the highest age requirement of any state. Most states leave it up to the parents but if you're on the Illinois side of the QC, your kid needs to be at least 14 to stay home alone in Illinois.
Let us help! Enroll your child in Kidz Zone Summer Camp. There are less than 10 slots remaining so register today at www.HopeofJoliet.org!
