Sending money to Ukraine is like me buying snacks for my class, but then making my OWN children go hungry because I can't afford to feed them. While many students suffer from food insecurity (more than you ever want to know about) and a child with a full belly is more like to be successful in the classroom, wouldn't it be more important for me to provide for my OWN children so that THEIR teachers do not to feed them?
