The Francis family packed their picnic baskets and went to Hogwarts! With a hint of magic and all things Potter, Geneva Off 6th curated this Pottermania theme for these amazing Potter lovers. This picnic featured textured shades of gold, brown, and burgundy. Complete with wands, The Daily Prophet, and memorabilia from Kings Cross Station (9¾), the couple enjoyed a beautiful tablescape, live music, Katie’s Cake Pops, Potter-themed cakesicles with bold designs, custom charcuterie, and a beautiful calligraphed letter from France. It’s Geneva’s Day at Geneva Off 6th! Happiest day to the queen herself. Geneva was born on February 14, 1912, in Deland, Florida. During her years in South Florida, Geneva served as a wife, mother, and entrepreneur in the now-historic and then segregated Sistrunk District. Affectionately known as “Teacher,” Geneva made a bold and monumental decision to establish the first formal school within the neighborhood, Geneva’s Nursery, graduating a multitude of kindergarten classes throughout the years. Beyond that, she was best known for being a “songbird” while comforting others through singing, having a servant's heart, and her stewardship as a member of St. John’s Methodist Church. Geneva’s legacy is woven into our mission as we strive to make a memorable and profound impact through service, one picnic at a time. Happiest Day to my mother’s mother, Geneva Scott.

Jhanaa’s Golden Birthday
Jhanaa’s birthday was indeed a golden experience, and this golden one proved that kids deserve and love luxe experiences, too! Jheri, Jhanaa’s fantastic mom, gave her full reign on her special day and directed all questions to her. It was a tremendous delight to discover such a creative mind and a princess who knew precisely what she wanted. Jhanaa and I sat “crisscrossed applesauce” on the floor as she described her vision for her golden birthday Kid-nic. Golden birthdays are the birthdays on which the numeral of one's age matches the day of the month. Jhanaa would be turning eight on December 8th, and she requested just that: EVERYTHING GOLDEN with yellow accents. Jhanaa’s 8th birthday was a joy to plan, and to make it extra special, Geneva Off 6th threw in a bit of a surprise. Geneva Off 6th personalized M&Ms with Jhanaa’a picture and personalized hair ties to commemorate Jhanaa’s special day. These items were included in gold favor boxes filled with yellow everything: socks, personalized coloring pages, a gold magnet bar, crayons, stickers, putty, and boxed cars for the boys.
Ambiance
What’s more significant than a Princess X Pop Star moment?! Jhanaa’s party was hosted at a local karaoke club with more than twenty-five private rooms, including a big party room with disco lighting. Geneva Off 6th elevated the room with classic tables adorned with yellow and gold velvet napkins and runners. The table featured Jhanaa’s name in rusty gold marquee letters, gold and yellow chargers, and glittered plates and utensils. To add a special touch, Geneva Off 6th added pictures of the birthday girl and shared memories of family members. What’s better than bottled water? Reusable boxed water by Boxed Water Is Better®. Lastly, guests were greeted with a personal flower vase filled with a yellow rose and a gold-mirrored nameplate. The kiddos sat on plush pillows and a French-inspired vintage yellow and cream rug. Geneva Off 6th installed a gold round arch, customized with a yellow and gold garland, accented with faux florals and greenery.
The Vibes
Between pizza bites, the kids wailed Imagine Dragon’s “Make Me a Believer,” followed by Christmas tunes. Jhanaa hit the highest of notes while crooning Mariah’s “All I Want for Christmas,” and it was a joy to experience the mother-daughter duet on other songs. The kiddos played and sang while loving every moment of celebrating Jhanaa. The parents were delighted, too!
The Food
One word… PIZZA! The kiddos also enjoyed an endless drink bar and scoops of ice cream. You can’t forget gold-glittered cake pops by Katie’s Cake Pops!
Happiest day to the GOLDEN one, Jhanaa! Geneva Off 6th enjoyed celebrating every moment with you, Mommy, and guests!
