Just a portion of what we intend to cover....It's not just about SWE. We are dedicated to educating and helping to improve those involved and wanting to be involved in Professional Wrestling at all levels.
There are some very good teachers of Professional Wrestling out there....Some are good friends, like Tom Prichard, Les Thatcher, Danny Cage, Ron Hutchison, Houston Carson, Rudy Gonzales...just to name a few...
But, in truth, there are many who simply take your money and leave you with little that truly helps you.
Pro Wrestling can be a tough, but fun business to be involved with. It is also a very competitive business. Your best chances to succeed and become as good as you can be are very much in line with how dedicated you are to educating yourself and honing your skills. Qualified, honestly given instruction is invaluable.
SWE is providing a unique opportunity to invest in yourself and receive valuable input and direct training from a variety of skilled professionals.

Long post...But, please read....
I'm making this resonse to someoneone pointing out that "Entertainment" is part of the SWE name....
Before i copy and paste, let me say this to all of you who follow tribute pages to WCCW and other well known traditional wrestling organizations that so many say they miss....
First of all, as a part of that traditional time, I miss it as well, but I also am realistic enough to know that some things change...some things for the better. Some not so much.
SWEFury intends to honor the traditional aspects of Pro Wrestling many of you love with a little added flair that makes it up to date and not just a dated version of wrestling.
We intend to promote and feature the compeitive aspects and do our best to keep you interested and invested in the talent and the issues they deal with both in and out of the ring without insulting your intelligence.
We intend to bring you a wrestling product you can trust and know there are rules you can understand and see the attempt to enforce them consistently and recognize when some try to get around them. We aren't gonna pretend they mean something in one match and not in the next unless a special concession is made for a reason. You should be able to tell who the guys are who try to follow the rules and those who don't.
We intend to give you a variety of styles and plenty of action, but we want it to make sense.
If you are one of those who miss this approach, please, while you go back in time on those tribute pages, find the time to invest in supporting a wrestling product that today is trying to give you much of what you say you miss...
We are streaming on Right Now TV, Acton Channel, FITE Chammel and in the Dallas area we are on Channel 33...It's a late show now on Saturdays, but you can DVR and give us the support it takes to allow the channel to find us a more advantageous time slot.
SO HAVING SAID ALL THAT...HERE'S MY RESPONSE...
Southwest Wrestling Entertainment is the company name...If you're point is "entertainment" is in the name, yes that is the name...It was the name of the company from many years back...
I've never said wrestling was not "entertainment"....In fact, all competitive sports are "entertainment". What has become a moniker for the current wrestling product was used by WWE to indicate that it has nothing to do with true competition. My vision of Professional Wrestling accentuates the competitive aspect and that is the intent of SWE Fury, regardless the entertainment part of the equation. And, that's not downplaying that part of what makes wrestling appealing....Of course, there is an entertainment/dramatic/Suspension of disbelief aspect to it that has always been the case.
The fact that Pro Wrestling has those traits does not eliminate the reasons to take it seriously or allow fans of it to believe in it while they watch. In fact, the reason so many were drawn to the sport and become so passionate about it as fans is that they could watch and become emotionally invested in the participants and the storylines without constantly being reminded its all an act. When you constantly remind them it's not a true sport by doing things that are utterly unrealistic, by downplaying the importance of competition, by bastardizing and ignoring consistency of rules and those that are supposed to appear to enforce them and by outright, in your face denying you are a sport...even a pseudo one...you have nothing left but the stunts, which are fun to watch, but leaves little else to care about....It's all about getting a reaction instead of creating feelings....HERE'S A NEWS FLASH....YOU CAN DO BOTH...MAKING SENSE AND DOING IT IN EXCITING WAYS IS AN ART AND GREAT WRESTLERS WITH SKILLS CAN DO BOTH... Professional Wrestling, at its best is an artistic version of sport with dramatic license that allows for a degree of freedom in its presentation as a sport. It's not just a series of stunts....It should have a point.
If you get that, you get why there's a difference...If you don't, by all means, enjoy what is typically called "sports entertainment". That does not hurt my feelings whatsoever. But, there is a difference regardless what some may think.

I have not really promoted my book on Facebook other than a post here and there. But, if anyone is interested in a signed copy, I am willing to send them directly to you. The cost will be $25, which includes postage.
I have been negligent in finishing a second book, which has a large number of pages already written. But, I am going to dedicate myself to getting that done and hopefully, with the help of Mark James, I will have a follow up book with some updated aspects as well as some stories about working in Japan, The GWF, The USWA, Germany and my experiences in being a part of the NWA under Bruce Tharpe and the transition to Billy Corgan. There will also be some more updated stories about my relationships with a few of the well known athletes I've worked with and know, including my association and friendship with former NWA Champion, Tim Storm.
So, let me know if there is a particular interest about my career and experiences you might want to hear about and I will consider those as I complete this follow up.
Anyone interested in purchasing the available book, please send me a request in a private message. Thanks to all for your interest and friendships.
I have been active in the wrestling business for parts of 5 different decades with associations with World Class, USWA, GWF, NWA,WWF/E, SWS-Japan, NOW-Japan and Big Japan as well as a number of other promotions and organizations.
Today, my main focus is concentrating on SWE Fury TV and working with a select few promotions I have long time affiliation with, including CWA, Texoma Pro and Full Throttle Wrestling.
I support all legitimate wrestling organizations and Halls of Fame and am actively associated with Cauliflower Alley Club and The George Tragos/Lou Thesz Hall of Fame.
Mostly, at this stage of my career, I am concentrating on my goal to help create and promote my vision of fundamentally sound wrestling that creates an emotional investment in fans and features the competition aspect instead of simply an exhibition of moves.
My goal is to pass along whatever value my knowledge and experience might be to those who are wanting to progress in the Wrestling business.
So proud of what we've accomplished in a short time with SWE...We have a lot of things to build on once we get cranked back up. In the meantime, watch us on these outlets and give us some love. We are trying to present a wrestling product any true wrestling fan will be proud of.
There's plenty of exciting athleticism, but we are presenting it in a way you can trust to be in line with more traditional values. There's some old fashion Texas style brawls, some great technicians and some high flying action...anything you could want in a wrestling program.
Give us a chance and I feel confident you will want to continue to stay tuned.

Just adding this page to concentrate mostly on wrestling and what I'm up to with it as well as a place aside from the regular timeline so that I can make available books, pictures, etc. as well as promote my activities.
I will probably add a little music to it as well as that was my first career and an important part of who I am.
So, if you accept the invite, I appreciate your interest and ongoing friendships.
