I had the busiest, most successful, amazing month vending with in Salem this year! THANK YOU to John, Arielle, and the rest of the team for making this huge event run so smoothly every year, and an extra-special thank-you to all my new friends I met at the booth! You all warm my black bloody heart!

THANK YOU all for making my most recent drop a huge success!! Things have been rough for me lately in terms of creative output, which in *tsy-land also means a dip in promo and a dip in sales. It’s a vicious cycle that I truly feel you all have helped me break! I could not be more grateful to all of you who snag things at drop time, make repeat purchases, and show me love online.

I have ONE piece still available from my past two drops, and it’s actually one of my favorites. This sacred heart wall hanging features a gnarly mouth with a tongue that doubles as a wall hook that you can use for your keys, masks, or necklaces. Come and get her, you won’t regret it!

happy Tuesday! I haven’t been posting much the past couple of weeks, because I am workshopping several new designs for spring! I want to be sure they are perfect before I share them with you. In the meantime, I wanted to share my perspective and involvement with the that’s occurring this week.

I support and stand with shops who are choosing to shut down this week to protest Etsy’s fee hikes and general anti-seller policies. HOWEVER, I am not officially taking part in the etsy seller strike. This shop is 100% of my current income and has been the entire pandemic. Your support is truly what keeps me alive these days, and I cannot afford to take the algorithmic hit of a shop vacation, let alone spend a week without sales. My etsy shop will remain open and functional and I welcome any and all sales you’d like to place this week.

With that said, in order to show solidarity and participate in the strike as much as possible, I will also be offering sales through social media this week only. Send me a message here on IG, on my shop’s page, or on my personal twitter page (@ abbject) to purchase pieces you see listed on my Etsy shop. I will conduct transactions through Venmo or Paypal and calculate shipment costs manually. This service will end April 19, after the boycott ends. If you’re hoping to buy from me this week but want to show solidarity with sellers, I do encourage you to place orders directly through social media until then. Again, my etsy shop will remain open and orders placed via etsy will be processed as normal.
