This is the beauty of democracy.
Over the last few months, I’ve had the ability to have genuine conversations with folks from all walks of life.
The man pictured with me is a veteran who felt as if our government had abandoned him. That his pleas fell on deaf ears.
We don’t need any more entrenched politicians who don’t give a rip about any of us, we need normal folks who really listen to their constituents and can bring about effective change.
Tomorrow, we will begin our journey to fix this nation from the inside out. Tomorrow, we will start to right all of our wrongs. Tomorrow, I will be your next Congressman fighting for the Americans that have been forgotten.

As a native Texan, I’ve seen the destruction that has rippled through our community because of the failed policies at our border.

The current administration needs to answer for the insane prices at the pumps. This is something that directly affects the livelihood of almost every American!
While we can continue to have the discussion about renewable energy and make strides in technology such as nuclear power, we shouldn’t pass the price off to the consumer nor vilify the oil industry.
