Doing anything Gods way can be challenging. There are battles that arise simply because you choose not to accept the things of this world as correct. Loving a person through a prison sentence is one of those battles. Whether they are locked up physically or mentally the emotional toll it takes to walk through the process can be exhausting. I remember growing up we used to say...sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me. Truth is words do hurt. They can kill a person's perspective, destroy someone's image and steal someones dream. Not just that but what are you speaking into the atmosphere...what word curses have you come into alliance with and you wonder why everything is going haywire in your life and around you? Speak life...Proverbs 18:21 Death and Life are in the power of the tongue. Don't speak death over someone and don't speak death over yourself. Using words like...it's always something, if it ain't one thing it's another, this is how it's always been, they will never change...you have the power to disengage the enemy and use his weapons against against him. Speak Life!! Break alliance with word curses and know that God sees and hears everything. He wants to move on your behalf so watch your words!!!
