Matcha corner 🤍
Creating a matcha corner at home transforms the simple act of making tea into a ritual 🌀
Happy Spring Equinox 🌸🌀🌱
aka beginning of Iced Matcha season
Grabbing a matcha is my love language 🍵
Sit back, breathe in, breathe out, take a sip, enjoy 🍵
Ready for your new ritual? 🍵
My little matcha corner at home 💚
A cozy nook dedicated to your favorite daily ritual. Why not carve out a space for your own little sanctuary at home?
Whether it’s the start of a busy week, a little pick-me-up in the middle of it, or just a moment of self-care on a Sunday afternoon, having some matcha is something we love to do for our well-being 🍵
Matcha has L-Theanine, which is an amino acid that helps with focus, keeps us alert but relaxed, reduces anxiety, and is good for our heart health. Its unique combination of caffeine and L-Theanine provides a sustained energy boost without the jitters often associated with coffee.
Matcha making is so much better with the right tools:
- Chasen (Whisk) is my number 1 tool for mixing
- Naoshi (Whisk Holder) is not the most important one but will keep your Whisk looking great longer
- Chashaku (Matcha Spoon) helps in serving the right amount of powder
- Chawan (Matcha Bowl) the second most important tool or vessel. With the right shape, whisking is so much easier
We still got a few of our favorite Ceremony tumblers left 💭

Guide for the perfect Matcha latte:
01. Embrace the present moment as you gather your tools: water heated to 80°C, matcha, whisking bowl, scoop, whisk, and whisk stand
02. Using your scoop, place 2g of matcha into a whisking bowl. Add 60ml of 80°C water to the powder
03. Briskly whisk the matcha and water mixture in a zig-zag pattern until thoroughly blended, creating a delightful froth.
04. Pour your matcha into a mug and add 180ml of 80°C warm milk
💚 Sip and enjoy the moment
your daily dose of wellness 💚
At Ceremony we believe in the pure essence of matcha 🌱

If you find yourself in Kyoto, don't miss the chance to visit this tea atelier and enjoy some peaceful moments while appreciating the art and craft of matcha 🍵
🇰🇷🍵 a couple weeks ago I went to explore the tea culture in South Korea.
One thing that stood out was the fascinating difference between Korean matcha and its Japanese counterpart. Japanese matcha is carefully shade-grown for several weeks, resulting in a rich, smooth, and sweet flavor, with a deep green color. Korean matcha, on the other hand, is often naturally shaded by mountains, bamboo, or ocean fog, which can make it slightly bitter in taste and with a lighter green hue. Deliberately shade-grown Korean matcha, if done, tends to be for shorter periods, and it generally offers a milder experience compared to Japanese matcha.
