Our next session is on the theme of travel writing, it will take place on Tuesday 5th March, at 2.30 to 4.15pm in the coffee bar on the ground floor, at Abbey Row Community Centre, Abbey Row, Kelso, TD5 7BJ.

What does reading a piece of travel writing mean to you? How does the writer bring a place to life? Other than photographs why does one place catch your attention when another does not? Why do you feel you are ‘there’ when reading a story and set the mood?

Join us to discuss and learn some of the techniques at our next workshop when Helen Anco will facilitate our session to help your travel writing capture the essence of a location.
