Decals are finally here for the Suzuki TM75!
We have had some struggles with backorders on plastics and decals for the Suzuki TM75 build. All we are waiting on now are the tank and side cover decals. Once we have the tank decals we will clear coat the tank, install side cover decals and it will be all done. π
The Suzuki TM75 restoration is coming along. We struggled to find a set of fork legs that were reasonable for the build and that created a delay. It runs fantastic and is dialed in mechanically. The side covers and front plate are ordered and should be in next week. At that point all we will need are decals for the side plates, front plate and the tank. The only US vendor we are aware of (Vintage Suzuki) is not taking orders at this time. If you know of a decal vendor for this please let us know. Thanks!
Progress on the KZ650 tank. π

π¨ - KZ650 build starts now.
This paint cured out fantastic! Minimal orange peel and looks great! Our first time using Wholesale Auto Paints , but will not be the last. Half the price of previous vendor and turned out just as nice! ππ
Painted the tank and fenders on the Suzuki TM75.
We are officially jealous! What a haul!

Working on some ideas for an upcoming KZ650 build. I have a soft spot for green, but the red looks good too. Side cover delete and exhaust will be stainless steel Delkevic. May do a rear fender instead of cowl. Thoughts?
Starting to assemble the rear section of the Suzuki TM75.
Bay City Restoration is starting a Suzuki GS850 build. Check it out below.

Starting to come back together.
Taking advantage of this warm weather to seal the tank on the Suzuki TM75. We use Caswell Tank Sealer and find it to be the best for our builds. π

We have another interesting build to share with you. Have you ever wished you kept your first motorcycle? Well⦠we have a client (who like me) wishes he did. While this is not his actual original, we are going to do our best to make it as close as possible.
We found this KZ1000 locally and almost pulled the trigger on it. Ultimately the math didnt work for the build, but we decided to help the owner out. It was his fathers bike and he wanted to keep it, but several shops later it still didnt run right. After a little examination, the vacuum for the petcock was run wrong and the vacuum port on the carbs was open. We had his bike fixed in about a half an hour. Sadly the math didnt work for us, but the good news is he has a great running bike from his father he gets to keep in the family.
The owner of our 1981 Honda CB750 build shared this current photo. So happy with how this bike turned out!
Sold the blue 78 today. Bitter sweet. You get attached to these builds pretty easy. The good news is it went to an outstanding home.
For sale - 1978 KZ650. Located in western North Carolina. Clear title and current registration.
π Very nice!
Nice shirt!
Look who stopped by! One of our previous builds. Current owner has made quite a few mods and has put almost 5k on the odometer.
Getting in a few miles today. π
We apologize for not posting much recently. We have been getting caught up on lots of smaller projects around the shop. We do have a KZ650 build coming up soon that we will be able to share start to finish. Client has the frame and is working title paperwork before we get started.
What we do...
We take vintage japanese motorcycles that look like this and breathe new life into them. We focus on custom styling of bikes designed to be riden. No trailer queens here!
