We had a beautiful event at Higher Ground where Thomas and Victor shared words about their experiences with Re-Entry. Thank you to all who supported this event! Please continue to support our work as we organize events like these.#hivisnotacrimeawareness #HIV #Health #Reentry #Incarceration

You’ve probably heard of the name Ron Johnson throughout our Red Ribbon celebrations. This is why: Ron was a part of the vision and creation of THP and of all that it is today. In this video we are honoring the #past of the AIDS epidemic and all that the Greensboro community was moving through during that time, and how Triad Health Project was created in the midst of crisis. This is a reflection between Jaziah Rispress, our Outreach Advocate and long time friend and supporter Ron Johnson on the past of the organization. Join us to continue building our vision for Triad Health Project, a vision that accounts for the past, present, and future of the Triad and our world. Our annual Red Ribbon event is in the works for 2023.. This year we will be having a Red Ribbon Rave at Chemistry Night Club (Dec 1st) and a Red Ribbon Walk (Dec 2nd) at the annual Holiday Parade. We are currently looking for sponsors. Email our Director of People, Culture, and Outreach Elliott Kimball for more information. More information to come! triadhealthproject.org/redribbon2023 #RedRibbon #AIDS
Today at Higher Ground we had the honor of welcoming @tristinmillerartist an incredible artist, trauma informed strength trainer, and founder of @gsozinefest. Tristin led our family in part one of a 3 part zine making workshop. 🌀What the heck is a zine you ask.......A zine is usually a non – commercial, non professional publication, kind of like a magazine but with a twist. The main difference between a magazine and a zine is that zines are not out there to make a profit but, rather, to add other, often unheard voices into the mix. 🌀Stay tuned for what our talented group of house members achieve. 🌀As many of you know Higher Ground is our day center for our clients and it is sustained by volunteers and donations. 🌀If you would like to donate to help us continue to offer more amazing workshops and life skills programs you can do so here ⬇️ https://triadhealthproject.org/donate/ #OurFutureFreeFromHIV #triadhealthproject #sexualhealth #sexualwellness #HIV #AIDS #STI #STD #testing #knowyourstatus #publichealth #triad #highpoint #greensboro #gso #nc #love #care #justice #health #hope #equity #empathy #authenticity #UNCG #NCAT
With us focusing on Belonging and inclusion for this year's campaign, we wanted to hear from different voices in our community about what the 2 meant to them. We are so thankful for our friend @kooncelyn and of course we wanted to hear from her! Check out this awesome video from Lyn Koonce and her partner Jeanie Duncan to see what belonging and inclusion means to them! Lyn will also be performing for us tomorrow at The Wrap Party which will conclude Red Ribbon Week. Please join us for a circle sing celebration as we express our joy over a successfull week of fundraising!! #RedRibbonWeek #AllAreWelcome #TriadHealthProject #HIV #AIDS #Community #Belonging #Inclusion
Do you know about Triad Health Project's core values? Hear from some of our team members about what they are!
With us centering our All Are Welcome campaign around inclusion and belonging within our community, we wanted to hear what these two meant to others. We reached out to our friend Tal Fish who also starred on My big Fat Fabulous Life, to hear what belonging meant to him. Check out his response!
The work of ending the stigmas that exist around STI’s begins with normalizing conversations about sex and health. Our friend Fury is a former adult entertainer, now gamer, who uses her platform to speak on issues about the adult entertainment industry. We reached out to hear her thoughts about sexual health, and she responded with this down-to-earth messaging for our community! At Triad Health Project, All Are Welcome!
SunQueen Kelcey is a much-loved Greensboro musician, performer, and dear friend of Triad Health Project’s. She centers body positivity and radical self-love in her work, and she has been a zealous advocate for sexual health in our community. As we are reflecting on what it means to be inclusive as an organization and as a community, we asked Kelcey to tell us her thoughts about what belonging means to her. Hear what she has to say! #AllAreWelcome #RedRibbonWeek #Inclusion #Belonging #OurFutureFreeFromHIV #triadhealthproject #thp #sexualhealth #sexualwellness #HIV #AIDS #publichealth #triad #highpoint #hp #greensboro #gso #northcarolina #guilford #guilfordcounty #love #care #justice #health #hope #equity #empathy #authenticity
Today is day two of our “All Are Welcome” fundraising campaign that will culminate in the Ron Johnson Red Ribbon Week this Nov 29-Dec 4th. We would like to take a moment to thank our friends at Southern Roots, a restaurant in Jamestown, N.C. for their support. Their staff all chipped in to make a donation to our efforts. We know that money is tight right now in the service industry, so it means the world to us that they took a moment to step into community to end HIV! Thank you, Southern Roots Restaurant & Catering! Every bit makes a difference here at THP. #RedRibbonWeek #OurFutureFreeFromHIV #triadhealthproject #thp #sexualhealth #sexualwellness #HIV #AIDS #publichealth #triad #highpoint #hp #greensboro #gso #northcarolina #guilford #guilfordcounty #love #care #justice #health #hope #equity #empathy #authenticity
