Founded in 2010 The Carlisle Public School Garden is a 503(c) program that aims to expand curriculum enrichment opportunities using the outdoors.

A brown Praying Mantis (likely a Chinese mantis, Tenodera aridifolia due to the vertical stripes on its face). We love to see these in the garden because they help control unwanted pests! They have tremendous hearing which helps them to hear their prey. They only live in gardens that are untreated with pesticides.
