Campaign signs are sprouting all over town thanks to my trusty staff! Hit me up if you’d like one in your yard. Thank you everyone for your support!
Thank you to everyone who voted. I’m honored and excited for the opportunity to serve and there is lots to do.
Housing, relationships with our education institutions and economic development are what I campaigned on and I’m looking forward to working with other elected and non-elected leaders to move our town forward.
But, my one real true agenda is to get people involved and paying attention to what is going on at the local level. What happens at City Hall effects our day to day lives more than what happens in DC or even Topeka. That awareness makes our citizens informed and involved and that is how we will continue to make Emporia the best town in the state!
Today is the day, make your voice heard and vote!
Please take the time to watch this video from my speech at the Sunflower Association of Realtors event. I am passionate about the future of Emporia and housing is a key piece to that which is highlighted in the video.
One week until election day. Whether you are voting early or waiting until 11/2, please make sure you cast your vote!
The people speak: Thank you Lucas Moody for taking the time to share your thoughts and I appreciate your support!

We have so much potential in our community and I believe running for City Commission is an opportunity to step up and give back by utilizing my time and experience to help chart a new course for Emporia.

2 weeks from today is election day and it is an important one. I have a bold vision for our community and we need the right leadership in place for the challenges we face. I will help the city take on the housing crisis, rather than just talk about it, I will work to enhance our relationships with our local education institutions and I want to help re-chart our economic development future.
We have much change on the horizon in the way of our non-elected leaders so it is imperative to have commissioners who have been involved with the community and are ready to work to take on the challenges we face. I need your vote on November 2nd to keep our town moving in the right direction!
Advanced voting starts today!

Greetings and thank you for liking my campaign page. I am very much looking forward to the opportunity to serve the community that has given back to my family and me in so many ways!
If elected I will work diligently to address the housing crisis in our community, strive for more efficiency in our local government and work hard to find new, and strengthen old public/private partnerships that will continue to make Emporia a desirable place to live, work and raise a family.
