We are DEFINITELY going to see changes on the way! ❄️❄️❄️❄️

Pretty much all of the models that are mid and long range have locked on to a cold and active pattern. The days of 50°s are over starting next week. The first two weeks of January will include several chances for SIGNIFICANT snowfall. We see our first chance of measurable snow from January 5-9’th. The next decent chance looks to be around the 15’th. Obviously things can and WILL change, but winter is on the way. This will not just impact our area but some areas as far south as ALABAMA could see snow.

Additionally, there are multiple chances of seeing other smaller snow events in between the two main events we mentioned. Bottom line is this, a cold and active pattern is FINALLY taking shape. This is EXACTLY what we spoke of in our winter outlook. All it will take is the two main ingredients to meet up and bomb out off the coast. The snow lovers will get tired of shoveling and the snow haters will be crying for more warm and sunny days. It’s almost our time snow lovers!

Here's the weather snapshot for Monday:
- A coastal low will move away from the Northeast but heavy snow is still likely across New England.
- A storm system will organize over the Southwest with some mountain snow, high winds in southern California and elevated fire weather threats in west Texas, before becoming a winter storm in the southern Plains on Tuesday.
