Outnumbered Woodwork
I love to work with clients to bring their woodworking and crafts visions to life. Look through the posts to see some of the items I’ve made in the past.
If you see something you like or have another idea, send me a message! Let’s make something!
Made a couple of planter boxes for the front porch this morning. Made from cedar so they should last longer than any plants we put in them! These were fun to make, just let me know how many you want!
Update: look at the latest photo after a fresh coat of paint, I think it looks great in white!
Check out the before and after photos from my latest project! I just completed installing a new mudroom for one of my neighbors, added some storage on top with some board and batten in the middle. Right now it’s just primed until she decides on a color, but this is already looking really good if I do say so myself. What do you think? What can I do for you?
Update: Project complete! This dresser had some surprises in store for me while refurbishing it. One drawer was missing the back piece and slide, two drawers had broken pieces for the slides, and the decorative piece on the bottom was split in two different places. I replaced the missing back of the drawer and added the slide, replaced the broken slides on the other two drawers, and completely redid the bottom removing the decorative piece and going with a more sleek look. Let me know what you think in the comments. It’s also for sale now too!
New project alert! I got this dresser off Facebook marketplace and im going to repair and refinish it. I am changing out the drawer pulls with k***s, and wanting to go with a darker paint color, thinking navy blue. What do you think? Follow along to see the progress, and if you’re interested in a refurbished dresser, this one will be available to purchase soon!
Bonus! If you want this dresser and purchase it before it’s done, you get to pick the paint color!
Check out these stove top covers I made for Patty Wilkins McQuary! One for her and one for her mom!
Check out these items I made for our family reunion auction this summer. The trays can be customized with any design on the top. The Texas flag is a follow up to the American flag I made a couple of years ago for the same auction.
A couple of ”weekend” projects here at the house. I’ve been working on the mud room bench on and off for about a month and finally got it finished this weekend. I saw a video about the towel racks and thought “I can make that.” So I did. What do you think?
Check this out! Thanks Dr. Mary Schweitzer for letting me make your 4-poster bed. I love the way it turned out and even more the way it looks in your room!
I’ve had the pleasure of building a few of these trophy cases the last few weeks, but check this one out. With a name like Easton you know we’ll see at least one more case in this baller’s room soon! Thanks Cathy for letting me build this for you, I hope he enjoys it for a long time!
New big girl beds for Kylie and Karter this weekend. Kylie was done with the crib and we didn’t want the bunk bed anymore. Outnumbered woodwork and Daddy to the rescue!
Thanks to Tonya for letting me build these jewelry display racks. I like building things I haven’t done before, there’s always a little challenge to it but I like how these turned out!
This trophy case is ready and available for purchase. $60
Check out this stove top cover I made for Rebekah this weekend! It’s raised since our stove top has raised burners, but this could easily work for an electric stove or recessed burners. I have the monogram in every letter, with the ability to put any name in the middle. Order yours today!
Another project completed! Thanks for your order Miriam, I like how this turned out with the solid shelves instead of the slats. I also gave it a routered edge on the tabletop that I think looks awesome!
I’ll be making a few of these tomorrow, let me know if you would like one or two!
If you haven’t liked my woodworking page you’re missing out!
I was fortunate enough to be chosen to make this laundry room countertop for Tonya Painter. I built the countertop, but the stain work is all her! Turned out beautiful if you ask me!
Check this out!
Thank you Ke'Andra Davis for letting me make this desk for you, love how the weathered look came out! I hope you enjoy it for a long time!
*Please pardon the nasty drop cloth in these photos*
Check out this trophy case I made for Amanda and Ryan Stephens. These are baseball display cases that have slots for 15 rings and 9 balls. Their boys will have these filled up by next summer for sure, but I’m glad I could make these for them.
A couple fun Secret Santa gifts this, a utensil box to go with a mark your cup and drink up box!
Some more “Take one or do the dishes” caddies this week, and a front porch Christmas tree in progress! I love helping people get ready for Christmas, it’s my favorite time of year!
This Christmas countdown calendar is ready for pickup, and it can be yours for only $40! Comes with a tiny wreath to mark the date through the month of December.
I was able to make these end tables for Katria Kimble, I love the way the stain ended up. Usually I wipe it off after a little while but I let these dry without wiping and it gave a really pretty shine to them.
A new softball themed porch leaner for the Annabelle Rex and the Rex Fam! I hope you and the family enjoy this one!
Two more projects for Rebekah this weekend. A thanksgiving and winter sign for the house.
