Finishing up this baby quilt for a friends baby shower.
All day sewing! How many projects can I complete today?
Back in March I decided to challenge myself with a Block of the Month project. The big challenge was to make sure I did each month before the next month’s block came. I did good until the end due to prepping for some craft shows. Well tonight I finally finished putting the quilt top together! I am hoping to get it quilted soon.
Thank you to my Aunt Kathe for the encouragement during this project.
I am all set up and ready for shoppers! Doors open at 9.
These fun snowmen will be hanging out with me tomorrow at Ionia Middle school for the Mrs. Claus craft show. Stop by from 9-3.
Here are some of the new teams I have available.
$5 each.
I still have Lions, MSU, U of M, Tigers, Red Wings, and CMU available as well.
They make great gifts for any sports fan.
This past weekend was our fall craft weekend! I loved spending time with everyone. We had lots of laughs! These are just a couple of the projects I finished.
The storm knocked out our power. I can’t sleep so why not sort and organize my scraps by flashlight. 😂
Hope all effected by the storm are safe and had minimal damage.
I set a goal to finish this quilt top before the first day of school! This was a fun project to end my summer break.
Bad Call Bricks!
Football season is just around the corner.
“When the refs, players or coaches make you mad,
And their calls are just unbelievably bad,
Use this foam brick to relieve your stress,
Without making a great big mess!”
$5 each
Another quilt top finished!
Looking forward to starting my next project.
And here is the finished quilt top!! It is so adorable. And the ladybugs are like little pockets. The wings aren’t sewn down.
This quilt is for a co-workers new granddaughter.
The quilt top is coming together nicely. Just have to ad some borders tomorrow and the top will be finished!
Any guesses on what my next quilt is going to be?
Just in time for summer. These freezer pop holders are great for kids of all ages.
I have multiple patterns available. $1 each
All set up outside the Floral Building at the Ionia fairgrounds! There are 60+ vendors today. I will be here until 3.
Here are just a few pictures of some of the items I will have available at the market on Saturday in Ionia! I will be at the Ionia Fairgrounds from 10-3. Stop by and say hi and do any last minute Mothers day shopping.
These are also part of the Peacemaker Block of the month.
I am learning that half square triangles aren’t so bad. It is just all the trimming that can be a pain.
I am stepping out of my comfort zone alittle with this project. I signed up for a Block of the month. The first picture is what the finished quilt will look like. Each month for the next 8 months I will receive a pattern and fabric to complete a portion of the quilt.
This month was month #1. Despite it being a block of the month, there were actually 8 blocks to put together. I am challenging myself to finish each “block” as they come and not wait til the end. I can’t wait to see it all put together at the end.
Worked on some lanyards today. Building my inventory for craft show season.
This batch have break-a-way claps.
$4 each
Prepping some backing for a quilt. I am taking advantage of the snow day tomorrow and quilting a couple quilts for some special people. ❤️
I have a few items for sale. The gift tags are $1 for a set of 6. And the gnome ornaments are $3 each.
I have a variety of each. If you would like to purchase any I can meet up in Lowell or Saranac or arrange shipping.
Found a fun way to use up some scraps. There are 6 gift tags per package.
All packed and ready for tomorrow! I will be at the Ionia fair grounds from 9-5. Stop by and say hi and check out all the wonderful vendors.
Getting ready to quilt this fun baby quilt!
Happy 4th of July!!
Last week I finished the quilting on this quilt for Sugar Maple Sewing! I really love how the quilting turned out.
I finally finished the mystery quilt I started a couple years ago. It is a lap size quilt.
