Thank you. Make sure you check in on your Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander friends and family, this is a very frustrating, upsetting and vulnerable time for us. 🩷

My most recent commissioned artwork!

Client wanted a vibrant artwork that captured her profound journey through the diverse landscapes of Australia.

Starting in the upper left corner, the Gold Coast emerges with its lush tropical leaves and vibrant hibiscus blooms. To the right, the Nerang River enters the scene, its waters converging with the vast ocean. It originates from the Hinze Dam, a source of life and vitality for the Yugambeh people.
The Great Dividing Range and coastline followed her journey across the vast landscape of nsw. Wiseman's Ferry along the Hawkesbury River appears, nestled between the iconic Blue Mountains and the serene Dharug National Park. The three bila, the rivers of the Wiradjuri nation—the Wambool, Kalari, and Murrumbidgee—are essential elements. They encircle her homelands, grounding her in the rich cultural heritage of the Wiradjuri people.
The interconnected smaller circles signify her constant travel for work, creating a web of experiences and connections across the canvas.

In this artwork, I aimed to capture the essence of her life, a journey filled with vibrant colors, diverse landscapes, and the constant rhythm of movement. It's a reflection of the beauty and cultural richness of Australia.

Art therapy may be a great fit for you is conventional therapy hasn’t seemed to work in the past. Many traumatic experiences are often too hard to express through words, there for nonverbal methods of communication can provide a great way of processing experiences and emotions visually.

If anyone has any questions about this type of therapy more than happy to discuss it further.

Art therapy is an educational avenue I am beginning to explore! I’ll be sharing more therapeutic art forms to my feed. Art is a universal language that promotes healing and self-expression.

You’re journey to healing, might be a creative one. 😊🩷

'Wiradjuri Homelands' (30.5 x 40.5 on canvas, 61 x 40.5 combined)

The Wiradjuri people hold a deep connection to their ancestral lands. Spanning across vast territories, this remarkable Country, encompassing the second largest area in Australia, is intertwined with the three majestic bila (rivers). Stretching from the northern region of Coonabarabran, traversing the Great Dividing Range, all the way to the Murray River and reaching the western New South Wales, Wiradjuri Country is a testament to the richness and diversity of the land.

As the proud owners of the central west, western slopes, and plains region of New South Wales, this mighty nation is comprised of a multitude of tribes. Each tribe, deeply rooted in their ancestral heritage.

For Sale 😊

“What was and what is” 40 x 60cm

This artwork explores the relationship that young indigenous Australians have to country, and how this is shaped by our birthplace and where our families come from.

This contemporary artwork explores the intricate relationship young indigenous people have with their communities and the connections they have with the past and present.

Due to the stolen generation a lot of First Nation peoples have been displaced from their traditional home grounds, providing very authentic and often at times confusing experiences.

It is important that we acknowledge these children have grown/ing up learning from elders from different tribes, learning different customs as-well as forming deeper connections with the land they grew up on.

Although, going back to our roots, exploring our elders stories, hardship and/ or their connections can often provide clarity.

We are the generation raised in between what was and what is.
