Got to fly this bad girl the other day ✌🏻
This is the Boeing DreamLifter, we had a B767 fuselage we took from IAB-PAE. There are only a few in the world and Atlas Air flys these babies! It was a great two days and had a great First Officer with me!
These were from our Captain Upgrade class, March.
We had to go through a two week course, take a PC (checkride), Captain Command Class, fly the line with a LCP (instructor), FAA Ride, and Line Check. I finished all of this just a couple of days ago and got to fly my first leg just a couple of days ago.
Just a couple of days ago (05/17) I flew my first flight as a CAPTAIN! HKG-ANC and I had the best crew ever, first ALL FEMALE CREW with Atlas Air and had our wonderful female loadmaster, Adrianna! We had wonderful weather, great plane, and great conversations! Can’t wait to do this again!

….sunrise over the pacific……
Nice views from FL350 this morning! The northern lights were white this morning! Sometimes the phone photos turn them green but they were white today!

It’s not very often we fly passengers but when we do it’s very rewarding. 🇺🇸
It’s so pretty 😍
“Edmonton Center, we need 20 degrees left.”

Bucharest, Romania
Atlas Air was contracted out to fly relief supplies to Turkey. We started in KIAD, Dulles Airport, and stopped in Constanta, switched crews and the plane made its way to Incirlik. From there we drove to Bucuresti for the overnight.
Never thought I would see this country! Unfortunately it was a short overnight but it was long enough to sleep and get some delicious food!
The restaurant I ate at, Caru cu bere, was wonderful. I had the venison and it was great! Can’t forget the beer, the Ursus beer was great as well!
The architecture of the buildings were so amazing! I really enjoyed walking around and looking at everything.
Hopefully I get to return to Romania one day!
Merry Christmas!
Nagoya Castle
This Castle was built in 1615 by the Sh**un, Tokugawa Ieyasu. It was designated as Japan’s first National Treasure Castle. Unfortunately during WW2 the original was destroyed. They have been rebuilding it back to the original structure.
If you haven’t ordered candles from then your missing out!
My favorites:
The Queen (obviously) ✈️
Airplane Mode (smells like summer)
Line Up & Wait (smells clean, get one and you will see what I mean)
Night Current, Backcountry Flying, and Top of Descent
You can’t go wrong with any of them! The fall candles are a must have! Plus, the candle names are spot on!
No this is NOT a paid ad, I’m just telling you to go order these candles haha
It’s fall time in Anchorage! Had a lovely run during the overnight! It was nice and cool and I wasn’t about to die in the heat!
Views in Sydney, Australia 😍
Good times in Hawaii with the crew! Hiked and walked to Manoa Falls. Got rained on, sun burn, blisters (rookie move wore my new running shoes), and laughs the whole 12 miles 😂
