Demiurge Talisman 6 Tenchio Custom

This guitar is the result of a collaboration I'm extremely proud of. I worked together with to create an instrument that fits his eclectic playing style and his aesthetic.

This Talisman weighs only 3.2kg thanks to the 38mm thin extremely light sassafras body. The top features a distinctive see-through green satin finish that matches Tenchio's green aesthetic. It also has a new finish detail that I dare say is a first in the guitar world: color fading grain pores from black to light green.

Tenchio was looking for more of a thick sounding guitar instead of the classic twangy Tele sound, so he opted for a H-S configuration with a precise pickup selection. On the bridge we have a Birmingham humbucker, with a split option via push-pull k**b, on the neck there's a MonsterTone Tele single coil that can be coil-tapped for reduced output via push-pull.

As always stainless steel frets, gotoh bridge and locking tuners, glow-in-the-dark side dots.

Fender Stratocaster on the workbench for a proper setup and electronics check up. Now it's ready to hit the stage again!

Beautiful '99 Gibson ES 335 on the bench for a repair.

Fret leveling and polishing to restore the playability of a fretboard that has seen a lot of play. The frets were especially worn out in the 5th to 7th fret area.

The old potentiometers were giving the owner a lot of problems. The neck tone k**b wasn't working anymore, the bridge volume was causing continuous volume drops and they all were scratchy as hell. I therefore replace all the old pots and caps.

Set of Demiurge Guitars humbucker-sized P90s installed on the customer's LP clone. This set gave new life to a guitar that wasn't getting any attention. After a thorough setup this fellow is ready to shred!

This is the first set of Demiurge Guitars pickups. It's a set of humbucker-sized P-90 built to give new life to a customer's guitar.

I used Alnico 8 for a powerful and punchy bridge pickup and alnico 5 for a more traditional, slightly overwound neck pickup.
I had custom bobbins made under my design so that I could use thinner wire, resulting in a slightly brighter tone. AWG43 for the bridge and AWG42 for the neck, closer to a traditional P-90.
Cover and baseplate are both nickel-silver.

The back has a laser etched Demiurge Guitars logo.

New Sanctuary 6 string in hi-gloss, blue/green chameleon finish. The color changes depending on the angle and the light, so it's quite hard to capture.
This is a one of a kind model with 22 frets. It has a bosse body, a maple neck, a figured ovangkol fretboard, and a flamed maple fretboard binding. As always stainless steel frets, double action truss rod and 2 carbon fiber reinforcing rods.
It features True Grit pickups in a H-S-S configuration with a 5-way Schaller Megaswitch.
The bridge is a Schaller vintage tremolo, paired with locking tuners for perfect tuning stability

This Sanctuary mounts a set of The One humbuckers with gold poles and black custom covers. From the Lundgren website: "It has a low end authority that stays tight to your riffing at all times without blurring". This couldn't be more true. In my opinion the best characteristic of the bridge pickup is its ability to remain tight and articulate without sounding thin at all. The basses are ever-present but never overwhelming. At the same time the mids and highs just hit the right spot giving it a very balanced sound, with a moderately hi-output I would say. The perfect set of pickup for any genre of metal, but even more so for contemporary metal.

The controls are a tone and a volume with ebony k**bs, and a 5-way Schaller megaswitch. Position 2 and 4 are as follows: both inner coils in position 2, outer neck coil in position 4. This gives the guitar a great variety of sounds since the pickups respond really well when in split mode.

NAMM 2024 has been incredible. It was the first time for , and against all odds, we managed to sell all the basses we had on display. We received countless compliments on how our basses sounded, on their finishes and their design. After all the hard work we put in to get here, it’s an incredible feeling to see the positive reaction of so many people to our instruments.

We met some incredible people. Every single person we had the chance to talk to was infinitely kind, cheerful, and encouraging. Paul Reed Smith complimented us! (I’ll brag about it for the rest of my life).

It was an incredible adventure, better than any of our expectations. Despite the countless obstacles we encountered before, during, and after NAMM, we managed to achieve all the goals we set for ourselves.

For all this and so much more, I have to thank my boss Polly, the founder and owner of Alusonic. It’s only thanks to him, who had the courage, skills, and willpower to set this all up, if we’ve come this far. Thank you a thousand times.
