Had the privilege of holidaying in Jamaica this week. No sea glass but gorgeous sandy beaches, clearest and warmest sea Iβve ever swam in, walked with a stingray and obsessively pelican watched!
More sea glass embellished mermaid bookmarks heading over to tomorrow. Available in silver and now bronze too! π§‘ππ€ππ€

A little bit of me
My discovery of sea glass came about in early 2019. Following my family relocation to Durham in the North East we soon discovered the joy of the many beaches along the amazing North Sea Coast. Around Seaham we found sea glass. These great little pieces of history are tumbled and tossed around on the pebbly beaches by the waves, creating smooth little gems.
I love wandering the beaches combing the pebbles for sea glass, originally from the old Londonderry Bottleworks in Seaham (1850-1921). Workers used to throw the scraps and waste into the sea each day and over many years they turn up on each new tide, to the keen-eyed beach Ravens!
Much love,
