St. James’ Church, a beautiful and historic Grade 1 listed building, is opening it’s doors the first Saturday in the Month starting this Saturday, 3rd June from 10 until 4. With ancient grave slabs, beautiful stained glass and unique "eaves drop" graves. there's loads to see. The Church is situated about half a mile east of Hamsterley and there is plenty of parking available.

Tomorrow's service will be at the Methodist Chapel at 10.30am with refreshments served afterwards. As ever, all are welcome!

On Sunday morning (29th) at 10.30am there will be service of Holy Communion for all 4 parishes in the Escomb Group at St James in Hamsterley . Everyone is welcome and if you've never been before, why not pop along - we try to be a friendly and welcoming bunch!!
