Well, it’s official... I have submitted a cancellation of my Amanda Makes business license and will be filing 2023 as my last business year. Maybe down the road I’ll be able to get back into it more, but for now this next chapter of life is crazy, busy, hectic with my kiddos and they only stay little for a little while 💕.

I am enjoying the challenges of my new role too as Surface Lease Rent Review Coordinator with Agri-Energy and this phasing back into the groove of office life has been fantastic!

I wish to thank you Everyone for your love and support with Amanda Makes these last 5 years and I’m sending you all well wishes for an AMAZING holiday season; May 2024 treat you all well❤️

Hello everyone!!

2023 will sadly be my last year with my small business - Amanda Makes. With life getting busier, I unfortunately just don’t have the time to carry on and won’t be renewing by business license in the new year.

I want to thank you all for the amazing support over the last 5 years! I started up in 2019 as a time-filler and creative outlet while at home with my young littles, but they’ve grown and I’ve started a new journey now. So thank you to all of you for your love!

That being said, although I’m not able to take on a lot of orders this year, I do still have some stock available…

Hi everyone! Sorry I’ve been a little MIA since starting my new position (loving it!!). Still hard at work behind the scenes though as time permits!

Would there be an interest in these tumbler purses? They’re open for preorder and should be in in approximately 3 weeks. They are perfect for the various options in 40oz tumblers available but with a Velcro strap they’d fit a variety of other mugs too - and I’m thinking fantastic for the lake, camping, etc. Can even go on your arm for summer hikes, etc.

They’ll be available in black, pink, hot pink, white, teal and leopard and will go for $10 each as-is or $12 ea with a personalization.

This dual-sided beauty is heading off to her new home soon!

These lantern / hanging planter stands measure 38” tall, 9.25” deep and 25.5” wide and are made of sturdy 2x4, 2x6 and 2x10 construction. The message on either side can be customized to your liking.

This one was done in special walnut stain with white painted (not vinyl) messages and sealed for outdoor protection.

CHANGES TO AMANDA MAKES

Hello everyone! I hope the start to 2023 has been treating you all well!

I just wanted to make a post that there will be some changes coming to Amanda Makes effective February 1st….

When I first started my business, I created it to give me a personal creative outlet; something for myself - outside of mom-ing - while staying home with my children until my youngest was in school full time. Now that we are at that stage - a new, exciting job opportunity has come my way!

What does this mean for Amanda Makes? It means that my time (as sole owner, designer, creator/maker) will now be cut in half. I am still a licensed business with the City of Lloydminster and will still be taking orders - but I will be shifting to custom order requests only and will need ample notice to create for you!!

I appreciate your support these last 4 years as I’ve been able to move Amanda Makes from a tiny hobby time-filler to a near full-time job, but I know you will understand that it’s time for this mom to head back into the working world that exists outside my home!

Thank you all for taking the time to read this post and remember: I’m still here…still taking orders… just need a little more notice than usual now 🙂
