Cadyn Pranger Bowling
Welcome to the Cadyn Pranger Bowling page! I am a 16 year old youth bowler.
Well, this one is a bit special. This is the last time I will ever qualify for Junior Gold. Lately the realization that this youth bowling journey is almost over is crazy, since I was 10 years old every weekend me, my Dad and Kyle would pack our bags and head to whatever city there was a bowling tournament. Last year, my brother went off to college, and it's just been me and my Dad, which already felt really different. Enough of the ranting though, this weekend I bowled in the eliminator at Continental Lanes, I ended up leading the tournament in overall pins but finished 4th in the last round. Overall successful weekend securing my spot at Junior Gold in Wisconsin and getting some bonus scholarship money!!
SUPER LATE POST: Recapping my 2024 Junior Gold Championships. Overall I finished 130th out of 1331bowlers so not a terrible spot. My weekend started at Thunderbowl which was the lowest scoring center for the weekend and I went -117 under. My week pretty much consisted of me getting pins back and sneaking into the number. Bowled fairly decent in the advances round but I was just to far back. We'll I was in Detroit me and my brother the Adult/Youth Tournament where we cracked a top 10 finish. Youth Open also went well where I should cash in some events.
Team Michigan is your 2024 Lake Michigan Cup Champions!!!! This weekend consisted of a 2 day format where we qualified on top to face Team Illinois in the finals where we overall persevered and came out with the win. Much fun this weekend with an amazing group of people, now it's time to get ready for Junior Gold!!!!
Doing a little bit of self reflection I had a very successful SYC in Kentucky. Over the weekend I started to realize that I am very close to being able to compete with the best, but still need to clean up the little mistakes. Over the last few months I have spent all my free time in a bowling center if I am not at work or school, and I am glad to see that it's starting to pay off. Until the next one the grind never stops!!!!
Overall regionals went amazing, as a team Northview won the whole thing and punched our ticket to the state finals. This whole season has been nothing short of unbelievable, we went undefeated in confrence matches winning confrence, and won lots of tournaments. Individually I won regionals punching my way to state, and my teammates Dave Frey and Kelly Hartman qualified to punch there way through. So proud of this team and cant wait for state, LETS GO NORTHVIEW!!!
Good weekend for the Northview Wildcats! Started the weekend on Saturday with a win at Parkcenter Lanes, I was forced to double in the tenth to bring it home for northview and I did just that. Sunday we got up early to drive to Bay City to bowl in the Baker's Dozen tournament at Monitor Lanes, we ended up qualifying 4th, then we won all a matches to come home with the W. Overall I only missed 3 spares this weekend which I am very proud of. Great start to the tournament season being 3-0. NOBODY HAS IT BETTER THAN US NORTHVIEW WILDCATS!!!!!
Got to sleep in my own bed this weekend as I bowled in the Wes Gibson Memorial MJMA at Sherman Lanes. Overall a very good tournament finishing 2nd to .gavin. Lately I have been working on a lot with my game, which seems to be paying off. Onto the next one PBA Junior in Columbus, gonna keep hitting the lanes hard.
The first MJMA of the 2023-2024 season is in the books and all I can say is that I am very impressed with how I kept my head in the tournament from start to finish. I started the first two games qualifying at -83, and through six games I finished at -73 going +10 for the next four games, which secured me 8th place and a first round bye!! During matchplay somthing just clicked and I didnt shoot lower than a 400 series for a two game total until the final match where I ultimately lost to Dillon Barnes who I also stayed with during the weekend since my dad was at a fishing tournament. I had the high game of the tournament at 279 which was one of my highlights of the tournament!!! Overall 2nd place is not too shaby for the start of the tournament season, again congratulations to Dillon Barnes on taking the W!!!
This past weekend I traveled to Joey's Armadillos located in Niles Michigan to bowl in a Great Lakes Junior Gold tournament. My goal was to get my gold spot for Junior Gold 2024 in Detroit Michigan. The tournament was a 6 game sweeper where I ended up averaging 194 shooting games of 200, 225, 172, 180,185, 203 with a end total of 1165. Not only did I get my gold spot I ended up winning the tournament and getting some bonus scholarship money. Overall a good tournament and a great way to start off my second year in U18!!
First u18 title in the books, winning the PBA Jr in Evansville Indiana! Overall didnt bowl great in the two qualifying blocks, qualifying 6th. Once matchplay started it was a whole diffrent story my spare game was on point and I put a premium on shot making which helped me come out ontop!
Happy Birthday Tony DeLuccia IV
Happy 18th Birthday Kyle, im not sure there is a better brother I could ask for. I know we dont always get along, but when I need you, you are there for me and I appreciate that. Have a great one. Love You!

Happy Birthday Dad, I appreciate all that you do for me, from driving half way across the country to bowl in a bowling tournament to talking to me when im stressed out. You really are my role model and I want to be just as hard working and smart as you are when im older. Hope you have a great day love you so much!
Happy Fathers Day to the best dad out there, I appreciate all you do for me from taking me to bowling tournaments, to are talks on the phone when I am stressed out and need someone to talk to. We have done some pretty cool things together that some people dont do in a lifetime from going to states like Texas, and Kansas to bowl to going salmon fishing on our boat on Lake Michigan. I feel like I never take the time to truly thank you dad so here I am writing this post, Happy Fathers Day.
Love You Dad!
I have something that I feel like needs to be said on my behalf, this is an apology for how I acted, and how I treated others at today's MJMA at Spectrum Lanes.
Today I was entitled, disrespectful, and all out rude. This is not fair to anyone, not to my fellow athletes, not to the parents who came out and watched, and especially to everyone running this tournament on the Michigan Junior Masters Association Board. I want everyone to know this is not who I am and not who I want to be, and I am not gonna let what happened today define who I am and I will make a change. Lastly I want to say congratulations to Carson Shroyer for winning the thing he is a great bowler and an even better friend.
After winning Grand Blanc Open at Galaxy Lanes in April - Cadyn Pranger lead the U15 Boys Division today at the Michigan Junior Masters Association tournament at Spectrum Lanes. For qualifying, he ended up TOURNAMENT LEADER with a 1487 over 8 games on very challenging lane conditions. He used his 900 Global Burner Solid for the day
Tomorrow he faces the top 8 guys through Round Robbin games and into matchplay. Below, he’s pictured with his best friend, Taylor Kretz, who is leading the U15 ladies at the same tournament.
Here’s to some more awesome bowling tomorrow, Cadyn! Keep up the great work!
Well today I went to Indiana to bowl the NWIJTPA Mixed Match doubles. I ended up making the cut at -43 which made me the 8 seed and I got matched with Karli Vanduinen. Me and Karli ended up finishing 6th place out of 10 going +124. Few missed spares and some bad shot making from the both of us but overall a good day!
Thanks to Karli Vanduinen for putting up with my frustration, and keeping me in it all day!
Well, tournament number 1 of the second half of mjma is a wrap. And oh it was a emotional roller coaster, I started the tournament off going -113 for 3 games, but I gathered my emotions and bounced back. Shooting games of 258, 219, 257, 182, and 223 to get me to +26 and securing the 1 seed. Day 2 was the same story I started off very slow and lost 5 matches straight, but 4 solid games and 4 wins to get me into the cut. In the step ladder I bowled the 4 seed to start who was Dylan Harden it was a close match but I ended up on top winning 225 to 190. During my second match I bowled Joseph Merz and I shot 197 to fall to his 200. Overall I am very proud of my performance but there is still much to work on and im excited to get back to the grind.
ALSO CONGRATULATIONS TOO NICHOLAS SHABERG FOR TAKING THE DUB

Well.... NORTHVIEW IS STATE BOUND.
After a thrilling weekend Northview ended up getting 2nd place at regionals, Congratulations to Cedar Springs for winning the thing. Individually I bowled really consistent With a low game of 189 and high of 226, I ended the day at -16 and tied with 4th to qualify for state. And for the rest of my team we had three other kids make it through, Ryan Carpenter, Courtney Delaney, and last but not least my brother KYLE FLIPPEN PRANGER.
I am so proud of Kyle he won Regionals 3 straight times in a row, and I love him so much I may not show it at times but I do, and I look up to him so much.

Tough conditions today at Oak Lanes in Westland, Michigan. Cadyn was out of the cut by 100 pins after game 3, but made a great comeback and ended up 2nd during the qualifying round.
He maintained a positive attitude and was able to clinch the VICTORY today using his 900 Global Burner Solid!!! 🔥
