Mary Schwartzbauer and I are working on a project authorized by the American Hosta Society Board of Directors called Great Gardens. The object is to capture photos and videos of notable hosta gardens and post short videos of them. We are starting with the garden of Dr. Bob Olson, but need some help. Although we and a crew from the Minnesota Hosta Society thoroughly weeded and mulched the garden, it still does not have the sparkle it had while Dr. Olson was still alive. If you have photos or video of Bob’s garden, we’d like to incorporate them into our project. Please DM me if you have material to contribute and I’ll tell you how to send it. Andy Marlow

Hey, American Hosta Society members, if you are voting in the AHS Popularity Poll and the Benedict Awards on the ballots distributed with the spring issue of The Hosta Journal, please note that the two ballots go to two different people. The Popularity Poll comes to Andy Marlow, but the Benedict ballot goes to Michael Greanya. Mike's address is on the back of the ballot. Please flip the ballot over, add your information and mail appropriately.
