As someone who is TERRIFIED of altering the facial region, I full heartedley understand any hesitation 😬 I also understand not wanting to use these products and being beautifully awesome as the gorgeous human you already are 💝 I believe we decide for ourselves, and our OWN opinion is the only opinion that gets a say 😉

About 4 years ago, I tried baby Botox (micro amounts), and was pleasantly surprised as I actually felt that it helps me look more like myself 🥰 before kids 😵‍💫, autoimmunes, and life stresses took their toll. But that's life right!?

It's truly an art form, as I've had great 🤩 and not so great 😔 experiences, and why it's EXTREMELY important to find an injector that listens 👂 AND is experienced 🤓 about how the products work. I personally prefer lesser amounts, and really stick to my guns about it 💪 Botox and Dysport preform similarly yet different, so it's ideal to find someone experienced in both 🤝 You'll probably learn you have a preference too!

The pics on the left are before my appointment, and the pics on the right are two weeks later. Can I move my eyebrows??? Yes! Can I still give the mom stare to my kids in public? Also yes 😆 I also get the lip flip technique in the cupids bow of my lips that is my favorite 👄 because it's a great solution for those who don't want 🙋‍♀️ or need filler. But FYI, it is the more painful placement.

👒I was pre shopping today for a client, and finally got to check out Due South after they came on my radar for all their helping of the community, after the Marshall Fires 👏 👏👏

If you are ever in the Downtown Lafayette area, they are worth a peek! 👀 Great quality clothes and accessories, and a coffee shop attached if you need some caffeine ☕

These were just a few things that caught my eye (how cute is that checkered top and set of earrings 💓), and they seem to have a range of sizes from XS-XXL, and styles to suit everyone ✨

Where are my dupe fans?!? 🙋‍♀️

While I love an amazing luxe product, I also have two kids 💸 and a fascination with finding affordable beauty 👛

I love using to find comparable products, broken down by percentage of ingredients. Personal examples I've found beneficial are, my Kirkland shampoo/conditioner (dupe for Pureology Moisture) and my Loreal Pro Glow foundation (dupe for YSL Radiance foundation). This foundation might be my all time favorite at any price point 🏆

The app Brandefy is also a great way to find comparable products in a range of price points. I love using this app to discover products that suit a specific need I'm experiencing, like dry skin or an affordable but quality brow pencil 👁️

If you love and can afford the higher end, by all means support your favorite brands and products 🙌, but if you held back pampering yourself because of price, check these comparable websites out!

A little something I wanted to share 💖
This little thing, sat on my mom's dresser and now it sits on mine. My love of styling clothes, makeup and design are because of her, as I saw her put her best foot forward everyday, through good days and bad, and through confidence and insecurities.
When she got sick, a doctor made a comment about how good she was doing because she was still putting on lipstick. I knew no matter what, she would put on the lipstick, and if she couldn't, I would for her 💖
I don't believe life is all about clothes, makeup and all things pretty, but I do know that life is short. So find what makes you walk this world with your head up and wear that, do that, be that.

Colors 🎨

Who gravitates to wearing the same shades of colors and then designs your entire house around that palette?? 🙋 Just me? 😆

In all seriousness, we sometimes find ourselves wearing the same colors frequently, and it's usually for two reasons. We instinctively know we look better in them or we just stick to what feels comfortable, à la black for many 🖤 But do those colors really suit you and are there other colors and shades that might be waiting for you to give them a try?

This article is helpful in determining your shades and I suggest answering with what your natural hair color is 😉 Another way is with a clean face, take a mirror in front of a window with different color fabric under your chin, and see how the colors change your appearance. Soften it up, look a little sick, under eyes deepen or soften? You'd be surprised to see what happens ✨

And as always, if wearing a color or shade makes you happy, keep doing that!! This is just to give a little nudge to those who want to take that chance, but don't know how 😊

I'm constantly trying new products, which means I have a LOT 😬😊I finally gave in and sacrificed some counter space, and this baby has saved me so much time and sanity in the morning, that I never seem to have enough of 😴⏰😅

By seeing (most😉) of what I have, also helps me not over purchase and waste💲♻️

I also feel just a little bit more pampered, and it makes the makeup process enjoyable, instead of feeling like a task 💓 I really love the simple things that can add to you feeling good and taken care of ✨

What's your personal style and do you feel that your style reflects who you are? 🤔 Finding a style that reflects on the outside, who you are on the inside can sometimes take time and experimenting.

I was asked recently if I felt the need to dress super high fashion if I was going to be able to help others.The answer is Patricia Field, costume designer of S*x and the City to name most notable. Weird answer I know, and am in no way shape or form comparing myself, but let me explain. When I was younger, and had a narrower view of the world, I had no idea how someone who dressed so eccentric could style what was a pretty iconic show of an array of fashion. Naive I know, but there I was dressing the way I thought my job wanted me to, or the way I thought would be more attractive to others, but not always what made me feel like myself. Don't get me started about when I became a mom! Should I show up in my oversized tees and combat boots for every occasion, no. Can some personality shine through in how you dress, absolutely!

Nothing irks me more than stretched shoulder bumps from hangers 😑 Love this tip for when you don't have folded closet or drawer space for your sweaters and delicate knitwear 🙌

Pro tip: velvet hangers are great for space and slip saving sanity, but be careful with hanging wet or damp clothes on black velvet, as some can bleed onto your garment. I prefer white or cream velvet hangers for this reason 🤍
