Back from our weekend at Statfold Country Park rails to victory event, I think I need new feet and I'm totally shattered. Gnome signed up to the Dorset regiment and I seem to have borrowed a daughter 🤣 we always come home with more than we left with 🤔👀
Lots of laughs and chats, new friends and new ideas..
Would have been nice to see a few more period traders , maybe a mini battle and a dance. We went on a jolly in 40's dress on the vintage bus to Tamworth 🤣 as you do and rested our legs while having train rides.
Statfold is a huge place to walk around with beautiful views of the fields from the steam train , bigger and better next year, see you next time

Crafter's do not put the cost per hour on the items they make , we do try to cover costs but in the current climate we are all aware of prices going up .
Some of my blankets take 200 plus hours if I charged the minimum wage plus materials your going to have heart failure when I tell you the prices , please don't tell a crafter you can make it yourself cheaper or you can get it on Amazon , hand made one of a kind and made with love are not for sale on Amazon and it's insulting to crafter's when you tell us our skills and hours are not worth our prices we already don't charge the going rate 🙏

It's August ..I know .. but . Money is tight for many of us this year,
I am not endorsing spending on gifts.. so I won't be advertising things that are not useful, be thoughtful with your gifts peeps.. many people buy for friends, I agree it's a lovely gesture but have a think if your going to cause that friend a financial worry about buying you a gift in return 🙏😘
