To all the Mothers out there, this is for you on this special day.
I always thought being a mom would get easier as your kids got older. This was the biggest myth, it actually gets harder and that is when the biggest life lessons of being a mom come into play. As your kids get older they go through so much more in life and you have to let them spread their wings and navigate through life on their own. You remain as the "wind beneath their wings" but you must let them fly. We are protectors, we are warriors, we are the foundations for these beautiful souls we were entrusted with. We do not take this responsibility lightly, it is one of our most important roles in our lifetime with much responsibility. My role as a mom has taught me patience, empathy, selflessness, and most of all unconditional love. May all of you know that this is the day that celebrates all that you have done and continue to do for your family. It's a never ending job, but the most rewarding one by far. God Bless all the Mothers out there. Let's also remember and cherish the memories with the Mothers in Heaven. I am sure they are still looking over their loved ones.
