The Altissimo Study for Wet AMD

Neovascular age-related macular degeneration, also called wet AMD, is a leading cause of vision loss in those over 50 years of age. Wet AMD significantly impacts reading, driving, watching television, and performing other everyday tasks.

Mission

The ALTISSIMO clinical research study is evaluating an investigational drug that could potentially be administered to AMD patients as a way to treat wet AMD and decrease the burden of frequent injections into the eye. The study will compare this investigational product to a current standard of care treatment injected every 2 months.
