Well what can I say, what a session 5 hooked and 5 Fish landed. My first catch was a Ghostie which I didn’t photo due to technical issues. I’ve not only caught the lake record but the complex record and smashed my PB by 7lbs. 34lb of beautiful Shatterford Lakes Syndicate common carp. Along with a 18lb common and a 23lb common and the elusive Ghostie Thanks to Parker Baits, Impact particles, and SMC leads. All caught on a shock running rig using a combi Rig with a size 4 claw and a 4oz gripper lead with yellow and orange pop ups critically balanced over a bed of OG Fruit and Nut whole and crumbed boilies, h**p sweetcorn and a splash of smart liquid.

I would like to thank all those who turned up for the first ever trials for the senior Welsh disabled carp team we were over the moon how smooth everything ran and how well everyone got on and helped each other. It was a pleasure to meet each and every one of you all and look forward to fishing with you all again on or future journey as an international team/squad.
Thanks also to Angling cymru for all the help and support to help us achieve this and a big thankyou to carl for coming down and meeting us all and staying to take some photos and some videos of us all we are all as a team very grateful.

I would like to introduce myself my name is Keath Llewellyn and i am the manager of the senior welsh disabled carp team i have recently been appointed this position and i am looking forward to the journey forward with the team i have got approximately 25 years experience at carp fishing.Being disabled myself I wanted to start the team up to compete in competitions against other Teams/Countries and it has been a long 2 years trying to get things progressing to where we are at now but with the help of my great friend Kayleigh it wouldnt of been possible and also to Angling Cymru for the chance to set up the team.

The senior Welsh disabled carp team is a national/international team that is governed by Angling Cymru. We are looking for disabled welsh born anglers who are interested in becoming a member of the team.
