Overall, the round was so close to being amazing. I made some good putts and I made some good drives but was just a tad off to get me the looks to score hot.

Today is a new day and I’m ready to attack the course with the same game plan and execute and make a push up the leaderboards!

Bowling Green Open Recap!

Had a very positive building weekend at BG this past weekend! Rounds 1 & 2 were both rounds where one part of my game was on and the other was just off. Round 3 I tied it all together and tied for the hot round of the day. Going from 28th to 7th is something I am wanting to build on!

Already 2 practice rounds in here at Champions Cup and I love this place!

Blackjack Open!

Another solid weekend of golf ending in my 3rd consecutive 2nd place finish… There are a ton of positives to take from these past 3 events as I feel like I am so close to the game I want to play and put together!

I feel as if my driving is already better than all of last year and that I am more confident off the tee! That was the case this weekend as I felt really confident off the tee and confident on the green just didn’t get some good breaks to fall my way!

Onto a week off then I am onto Bowling Green and then my first Major of my career in Champions Cup! Time to buckle down and fine tune some things then I will be ready!

WACO 23!

The first event of the year has gone by and it’s taught me a lot about what the season may hold for me. I played 2 solid rounds of golf then I just couldn’t get going on the final round. Finishing at 72nd and not cashing hurt a ton from being in contention for a good finish.

A positive for the weekend is my driving was the best part of my game and I had a really solid game plan. The weakest was the putting. I was 69% from C1x which is a huge let down since putting is a strong suit of mine.

Man what a year this has been! To say I blew my expectations out the water would be an understatement.

There are so many to thank for this season so I will try to get them all! I would first like to thank my family for the support and love that they have showed me this year when I stepped into trying to succeed with disc golf. Butler County Disc Golf Classic 🥏

This past weekend I traveled up to Pennsylvania to take on a Silver Series event and man was it a blast! North Boundary is such an amazing course. It easily hopped into my top 5 courses to play, it has a challenge of endurance and physicality as well as woods!

Going into the weekend I felt good about my game and wanted to keep an open mind and not let myself go mentally. I did just that! I started out +3 after round 1 and I’m 46th place, after round 2 I shot E which moved me up to 40th. Going into round 3 I was locked in and focused to shoot a very good round and I did just that! I shot a -4 which is a 7 stroke improvement from Friday.

Some positives I took away from this weekend was I am finally tying things in the game back together, I threw super well off the tee this weekend which goes back to the ton of field work sessions I have done. I fought back after 2 rounds where I was so close to playing super well.

I would to shoutout the Pittsburgh crew for the amazing work they did to get the course ready for this weekend! Another shout to Matt Rosier for doing great on the TD job this weekend.

I’d like to thank Hazy Shade, Dryv Bags, and Greazy Dyes for all their support this year. It does not go unnoticed!

Day 2 is in the books! I played 3 strokes better today shooting an even par which is a plus on the day! It felt like I really couldn’t find the small piece of the puzzle to shoot -3 to -4 under par. I have a chance to make a push tomorrow and cash only being 2 strokes off the cash line! Hoping to tie it all together tomorrow.

Round 1 is in the books here in Pittsburgh! Today was just one of those days where I threw the discs really well and scrambled well but had a lapse of focus on 3 holes that resulted in me losing 5 strokes. There are no excuses for that. I need to be better. I also putted 67% inside C1X which is an issue I have been battling for a while.

I’m excited to get back out there and attack the course and change some of the mental errors that I had.

2022 Hazy Shade BYOP

This past weekend Titus Davie and I took on the Hazy BYOP! We struggled on Day 1 and managed to get it going in the middle part then struggled again in the back but shot a solid -10. We went into Day 2 with a new rhythm and we got it going and shot another solid -10. It is always nice playing with Titus even though we didn’t play to our full potential.

Shoutout to and Harley Payne on taking it down and shooting fire on Day 1!

Another shoutout goes to Jeremy and the crew for going above and beyond for this tournament. This is one of the tournaments that everyone looks forward to every year and it’s all because of the countless hours that Jeremy and the Crew puts in! Seviren Lang Memorial Open

Up and down kind of weekend with lots of positives and lots of things to work on! Battled my way after a very slow start in the final round to a Top 5 finish. I was dealing with a little bit of a shoulder injury this weekend making the forehand not be so present but it’s feeling better day by day!

The big part of the weekend was my best friend for taking down his first A-tier win! I am so proud of this man, he has been there for me a lot this season and has been so close to pulling it all together! Congrats my man! But like you always tell me… don’t let this old man catch you but now it’s don’t let this young boy catch you lol! Much love my brother ❤️

What a weekend! I’ll try to keep the recap short and sweet!

This weekend I played my second A-tier of the season and took a top 10 placement against a very stacked field!

My game felt great aside from some forehands that need to be cleaned up. Putt felt great and normal like it should be and the backhand was feeling good.
