Southern Maryland SportPlex & Learning Center, Inc

Update: I want to report I have been working tirelessly with Senator Ellis's office and Maryland State Authority on ensuring that Charles County brings a SportPlex & Learning Center to Charles County. As you know, the Southern Maryland SportPlex & Learning Center was working on getting a public-private partnership with the County, but it was not approved. So I did not stop there. It is official, and I can report that Charles County will be building a SportPlex & Learning Center. It was not the direction I envisioned going, but the result was the same: Charles County gets a SportPlex and Learning Center for its youth and residents. This is a win-win for Charles County residents. Stay tuned for updates from Senator Ellis's office.
