The churches in this parish are beautifully decorated for the celebration of the birth of Jesus.

LAST DAYS OF ADVENT
Soon it will be Christmas. There are just a few more days to go. Shoppers are rushing to and fro. It's now difficult to find a parking space in village or town. Decorations are fluttering and carol singing fills the air. We are all busy but good humoured because the BIG DAY is almost here.
There are now four candles alight on the Advent wreath. We wait until Christmas day to light the WHITE one.

ADVENT
We are now in the season of ADVENT.
This is a time to prepare our hearts and our homes for the birthday of Jesus.
What birthday preparations will we make ?
1 Repent of our sins, go to Confession
2 Make more time for prayer
3 Forgive those who have offended us
4 Let it be evident that Christmas is centred on the birth of the child Jesus by erecting the Crib in a prominent place in our home.
