Avantine

We met up last night and were all together for the first time in almost 3 years! It was great to see everyone but the best thing for me personally was that it was just great to be together having a laugh and reminiscing on all the great happy memories we have as a band. This is a huge rarity as most bands have bitter issues when they split for various different reasons, but we don't. It was literally like we had been in the studio the day before, nothing had changed apart from circumstances. I suppose what I want to say is; Thanks for the great memories lads, thanks to all the Avantine members over the years, even the guys working in the background that helped us out in so many different ways, you all played a crucial part in keeping us happy and our morale high. I felt so honoured to be part of it last night and it's a memory I'll cherish forever.

So its been a fu***ng blast over the last 5 years but our time as Avantine has come to an end! We love playing shows and meeting all you guys but life has its twists and turns and unfortunately with how things have panned out its best we end it on a high note. Tonight at the George in Lichfield will be our last show! Lets make it a banger and please keep posted on our page as we have a couple of things left to give you in the new year! We just want to give a big shout out and thank you to any bands we've had the pleasure of sharing the stage with and especially to anyone thats ever come to a show, bought a shirt, listened to our music or even just given us the time of day! Thank You!!

As you may have seen on our personal profiles I (Lewis) decided to leave the band due to new commitments within work etc (I shan't go in to detail as there is no need to clog up the band page), soon after Leigh, Avantines vocalist decided to also part ways (again I shan't go in to detail but both cases were on good terms)

This means that the band are after a new drummer and vocalist so if you want to be part of something special and that meant a huge amount to myself and Leigh then please get in contact. The next show will be mine and Leigh's last show so let's make this one a big one, as it's gunna get emotional for us! Ha!
