She worked with law enforcement and identified who she believed was the man that committed the crime. By all accounts see was the ideal witness, the only problem was she fingered the wrong man.
Since Ronald’s exoneration he and Jennifer have formed a beautiful relationship having been both victims of her ra**st. Together they wrote the book Picking Cotton; Our Memoir of Injustice and Redemption, which gives us the unique perspective of both the wrongly accused and the victim.

Happy Tuesday!!
Normally you would be getting a new episode of cleared today but due to circumstances outside of our control (Covid and quarantine) we were unable to record last week.
Good news we will be recording our next episode tonight which will be available to you on all platforms Tuesday March 15. The case we explore was picked out for us by the one and only Jim McCloskey. It just so happens to be an individual that was exonerated with the assistance of Centurian Ministires.
We don’t want to leave you hanging and if you’re needing something to listen to today both Dad and I want to recommend an episode from the podcast “Your Wrong About” where the hosts explore the world of junk science and the criminal justice world. Very informative and extremely interesting.
Don’t worry you’ll hear more from us next week!

Episode 7 is out now!
On this weeks episode we are very honored to have the opportunity to speak with Jim McCloskey author of When the Truth is All You Have. Jim is the pioneer of exonerations. Long before the Innocence Project Mr. McCloskey founded Centurion Ministries. The first organization dedicated to exonerating the wrongfully convicted. He started Centurion out of his bedroom which to date has exonerated 67 men and women. Having no formal legal or investigative training Jim relied on old fashioned detective work and building relationships.
