According to this psalm, the way into God’s presence is through the ‘gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise’. Without making this a ritual, I found this is the most beautiful way of coming to God in prayer each day and just spending precious time with Him.

I have realised that throughout the psalms thanksgiving is almost always related to salvation. So how fitting it is to thank God firstly for His great salvation through the Lord Jesus. The next step would be to praise Him for specific things He’s done for us – like answering our prayers or meeting our health or financial needs.

I’m pretty sure God would love to hear our praises for specific things that He’s done for us. Praising God for specific things is putting content into your praises. So, let’s tell Him exactly why we’re praising Him.

People who have an attitude of thankfulness are usually pleasant people with positive attitudes.

The world is full of negativity, doubt and ungratefulness but as a Christian you live in a higher Kingdom, above the negative kingdom of fear. Remember, thankfulness is not an emotion but a decision of the heart.

Gather yourselves together [in repentance], yes, gather [in submission], O nation without shame, Before the decree takes effect [and the time for repentance is lost]— The day passes like the chaff [whirled by the wind]— Before the burning and fierce anger of the Lord comes upon you, Before the day of the wrath of the Lord comes upon you.

Father,

FILL YOUR MIND WITH GOD'S WORD AND LEAVE NO ROOM FOR SATANS LIES

Romans 12:2 KJV And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Believers Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world. Allow the Holy Spirit to transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Study God's words and allow his Spirit to help you to walk in alignment with his words.

Believers we were all born in sin and shape in iniquity. All of us inherit the adamic sinful nature, meaning we have the tendency to lean towards sin. But the word of God speaks clearly in 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

When we become believers we are not expected to remain the same. The words of God says old things are passed away and behold things become new. Meaning that our lives must be transformed, and become new, the old character died and a new one evolve. New meaning that this person has never existed before.
Salvation means deliverance, therefore we are no longer enslaved by sin. Sin has no dominion over us, therefore we should not allow sin to plague our lives.

As new creatures in Christ we should read meditate upon God's words daily and allow them to be our compass for direction and to the light to our path.

As believers We will be confronted with the same temptations that confronts us before we were believers. However as Christians we are blessed with the Holy Spirit of God who takes his residence in us at the point of salvation. He has given us the assurance that sin shall not have dominion over us. Because He won the battle by disarming principalities and powers of darkness at the cross and his us the victory again and again. And today we can boldly declare that

Romans 6:14 KJV For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Believers it takes a sincere desire to want to obey God and to resist the trappings of this world, therefore for us to walk in obedience to God's words we must stay in his words daily and be obedient to the voice of his Holy Spirit. God will not speak independently of his words. The voice of the Holy Spirit always in alignment with his words. Only when we read meditate upon God's Words and walk in obedience, then our minds are transformed and confirmed to the will God.

Believers Our desire should be fuelled by God's words. It is our obedience, his words, his grace, His love and the transforming power of his Holy Spirit that will make real change possible in our lives.

It is our job as God’s children is to study and apply the Word to our lives. It is our weapon against sin, against the enemy, and everything that comes against us, whether it’s sickness, fear ,depression, or evil negative thoughts that try to take hold our minds in captivity.

Hebrews 4:12 KJV For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Believers every evil and negative thoughts come from the demons in the demonic world. The impact of these thoughts in our lives depends on what we do when demons injects them in our minds.

How Do You Treat Negative and Evil Thoughts ?

1. Deal with them immediately. REJECT THEM. For example if a thought of bitterness comes to your mind because somebody hurt you. SAY ALOUD: You spirit of hurt and bitterness I reject you in the name of Jesus. I cut you off my life in the name of Jesus .

2. Replace evil and negative thoughts with the word of God and SPEAK THEM ALOUD . Find out what the word of God says on this topic . For example Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

1Peter 4:8 advises us to love each other deeply, even those who hurts you ,for love covers a multitude of sins.
1 Peter 4:8 KJV And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

1 Corinthians 13:5 advises us that love keep no record of wrong.

1 Corinthians 13:5 KJV Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

LOVE KEEPS NO RECORDS OF WRONGS, so stop rehearsing in your mind the hurts and wrongs that others have done to you. When you do so you are entertaining the demons of unforgiveness, bitterness and hatred and soon are later your life is consumed by demons.

Another example of negative thoughts that demons inject in your mind. Believers demons love to attacks us when we are vulnerable . For example demons may attack you when you are sick, unemployed, child rejects you, your finances are low, your child on drugs. There the demons will tell you to worry and to give up and soon or later you fall in the pit of depression if you are not cautious

Call the Spirit by name and Drive the demons away from you in Jesus name
Decree and declare the word of God over your life in Jesus name.

For example if confronted by sickness. Call the sickness by name and drive it out of your life in the name of Jesus and do so until your change come .

Speak aloud what bible says about health and healing over your life for example

3 John 1:2 KJV Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

If you are confronted with the Spirit of depression,call it by name and drive it out of your life immediately in Jesus name and declare what the bible says about it

2 Timothy 1:7KJV says For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Believers 1 Peter 5 : 7 encourage us to give our worries to the Lord for he cares for us.

1 Peter 5:7 KJV Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Ecclesiastes 4:4‭-‬10

The apostle Paul, gets to testifying a bit in this reading. He’s had sensational experiences, and is hesitant to even repeat them. As he recounts in verse 4, he was, “caught up to paradise and heard inexpressible things.”

Paul is clear that one danger of such intimacies with God is pride. To counteract that temptation to conceit, Paul (v7), “was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me.”

Now, Christianity is not fatalism. We don’t just take everything that happens as if from God (fatalism is the belief that ‘all events are predetermined and therefore inevitable.’). Neither are we stoics. We don’t keep a stiff upper lip and silently suffer whatever befalls us (stoicism is ‘the endurance of pain or hardship without the display of feelings and without complaint’).

➡️ No. Paul acted as a Christian. And this is the example for us: “Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me” (v8 NIV).

➡️ There is nothing noble or inherently virtuous in pain, in and of itself. It’s not necessarily God’s will for us. And we have a greenlight from Paul to plead with the Lord to take it away from us.

That said, Paul received an answer from the Lord (v9): “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.”

The challenging bit for us today is Paul’s reaction to the Lord’s answer. And it epitomizes the posture of surrender that we’re to exemplify in relation to Jesus (v9,10):

➡️ “Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong” (NIV).

Implicit in this assertion is recognition that none of this is about how great Paul is, or how great we are.

➡️ Paul’s lack, our weakness, within the context of submissive relationship with Jesus, only goes to highlight Jesus’ wonder and glory.

➡️ And so rather than trying to hide it or underplay it or exaggerate our own skills or abilities, we can follow Paul’s example and highlight our weakness, delight in hardships, celebrate our difficulties, so that Christ’s power can rest on us.

"Does your heart still safely trust Me as your God or has your heart turned to follow your own ways and trust in your own hands? Who among you still believes in My power, might and goodness over you?"

The godly cry out and the Lord hears; he saves them from all their troubles.

The Lord is near the brokenhearted; he delivers those who are discouraged.

The godly face many dangers, but the Lord saves them from each one of them.

He protects all his bones; not one of them is broken.

Evil people self-destruct; those who hate the godly are punished.

The Lord rescues his servants; all who take shelter in him escape punishment.

"Turn your feet to follow My ways for obedience is better than sacrifice. Do good and follow My paths and you shall have rest for your souls and My goodness shall overflow upon your heads."

"For nothing is impossible to Me and every mountain you face, will be removed before you by simple, yet profound faith."

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.

By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
Hebrews 11:1-40

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, we must get rid of every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and run with endurance the race set out for us, keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith.

For the joy set out for him he endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God.

Message to all:

God accepts people as right with him when they believe like that, deep inside themselves.

➡️ And when people say clearly that Jesus is Lord, God saves them. .

It says in the Bible: ‘Everyone who believes in him will not be disappointed.’

➡️ It says ‘everyone’.

There is no difference between Jews and Gentiles.

There is the same Lord for all of them. He helps everyone who asks him with many good things.

As it says in the Bible: ‘The Lord God will save everyone who asks him for help.’

➡️ But people will never ask Christ to help them if they have not believed in him.

➡️ And they will never believe in him if they have not heard about him.

➡️ And they will not hear about him unless somebody tells God's message to them.
Romans 10:10‭-‬14 EASY

Everyone that the Lord has rescued should tell others. Tell them how he has rescued you from the enemy's power.

He brought his people from foreign countries. He brought them together from the east and the west, from the north, and from the south. They were hungry and thirsty. They were very weak and nearly dead.

Because of their trouble, they called to the Lord for help. He rescued them from their troubles. He led them along a straight road, to arrive at a city where they could live.

➡️ So God's people should thank the Lord because of his faithful love.

➡️ They should thank him for the great things that he does for people.

He gives drink to people who are thirsty.

He gives plenty of good things to hungry people.

They had refused to obey God's commands. They did not accept the teaching of the Most High God.

➡️ He took them out of the completely dark place.

He broke away the chains that held them.

➡️ So they should thank the Lord because of his faithful love.

➡️ They should thank him for the great things that he does for people.

He sent his word to them and he made them well again.

He rescued them from the deep hole of death.

➡️ So they should thank the Lord because of his faithful love.
