Ohioans, there is a bill headed to the desk of Governor Mike DeWine that, if signed, would make it LEGAL to set off fireworks in Ohio backyards on certain holidays!
✔️Contact the governor immediately, before he decides to sign, asking him to keep it illegal.

✔️Contact your state of Ohio house and Senate representatives and make your voice heard. The bill already passed congress, but if DeWine vetoes the bill it could go back to congress for an override vote.

✔️Contact your local government officials. Local governments would still be allowed to restrict the dates and times residents can discharge fireworks, or ban the practice entirely within their boundaries.
