Shannon Wegner Art
Artist - Graphite, watercolor, oil and digital painting / drawings.
I used to live by a river where these pelicans came every year to fish. I did this black and white oil sketch but can’t decide if I should do a larger full color painting. What do you think?
I now have prints available!
Limited Edition signed and numbered prints are available in my shop at

"Who's that Mom?"
Graphite on Stonehenge paper
So interested in everything around him.
"On the Lookout"
Oil on canvas - 24" x 12"
I love chipmunks. I grew up seeing them at the lake listening to their little chatters.
"In the News" - Graphite on Stonehenge Paper - 20" x 13"
I found this newspaper underneath a step near the studio I used to live in. The headline was a bit of a shock.
"Angelic" - Graphite on Stonehenge Paper - 14.5" x 10"
Such a beautiful statue. I had to draw it.
"Egg Shells" - Oil on canvas - 5"x5.5"
This was one of my earlier oil paintings that I did trying to get a good feel for the medium.
"Peekaboo" - 23" x 14" Graphite on Stonehenge Paper
This Orangutan loved to play peekaboo under this blanket. Such intelligent and amusing creatures.
"Single Autumn Leaf" - Watercolor on Arches 140lb
I had no fancy reason for creating this painting other than I loved the colors. 🙂
I have a bit of a fascination with Snow Leopards. They seem so regal... and fluffy. Such interesting patterns in their fur.
"Coyote in the Snow" - Oil on Canvas - 24" x 16"
The reference I used for this painting were photos taken from my backyard. I used to hear and see Coyotes all the time as we live near the edge of the city. Unfortunately that is all houses now 😞
"Meerkat Curiousity" - Graphite on Stonehenge Paper
I find these little animals so interesting to watch. They seem so curious and alert.
