Twine After Twine UK
Homemade decorations, cards and gifts. New website on it’s way, in the meantime message me to order.
Down at at the Crofton Park Railway Garden Christmas Market ❤️ such a lovely vibe and I can personally recommend the mulled wine!! 🤪
Come and join the party until 3pm! Details on second photo.
New Year’s resolution….get better and more consistent on instagram!! Bit disorganised at the moment advertising where I’ll be, but tomorrow (or maybe today by the time you read this!) I will be at the Crofton Park Railway Garden Christmas Market.
Will be there with my partner in crime
Come and join us for mulled wine, minced pies and lots of goodies! The lovely and will also be there!
It’s a smaller, more intimate fair, in a lovely setting, so please do pop down if you are around.
My biz friend Mark of created this map of this weekend’s local Christmas Fairs for festive fun and frolics! I will be at number 3, at St Mary’s in Lewisham (I’m feeling better so will make it, along with Messy Lnd) and Mark himself will be at number 4, North Cross Road, East Dulwich. Come check us both out and make a festive day if it! Mulled wine fuelled Christmas Fair crawl anyone?!?
Oh and if you don’t already follow Me On The Map please do, his maps are fantastic! And if you want cool, bright clothes and cool fabric based gifts check out Messy Lnd
Hoping to be at St Mary’s in Lewisham on Saturday if I can get over this horrible cold in time! If I can’t then Catford Fire will step into my shoes selling rather splendid hot sauce rather than Christmas decorations!
Either way, it’s set to be a lovely day out, so if you are local and fancy being Christmassy and supporting local business, please do pop along. It’s the church next to Lewisham Hospital 🎄
Had a fabulous day at my local FUSS fair in Hither Green yesterday, it was so busy I didn’t even have time to take a photo!! Sold out of a couple of things which I am busy remaking today whilst at the Langley Park School for Boys Christmas Fair. ❤️
So excited for this tomorrow!! The weather looks lovely, cold but bright! I’ll be in multiple layers and hopefully partaking of a glass of mulled wine or two, purely to keep me warm you understand! 🤪
Hope to see you lovely locals there, it’s such a wonderful community event 🥰
CHRISTMAS FAIR SEASON IS OFFICIALLY UPON US! Finished the first Christmas Fair of 5 this week! Yes 5! 🤣 to be honest they feel like a bit of a break being a full time Mumma 🤣
I was so impressed with myself sorting out Fred (the baby) and loading the car, until I got to the fair and realised I’d left all my price tags at home 🤦♀️ fortunately I was next to a lovely lady who gave me some post its. The show did go on!

Followed on Friday by Lawn Primary School 3.15pm until 6pm.

Training up my new assistant! He’s helping with the wooden drop icicle Christmas tree decorations, ready for our next fair this Saturday at ❤️🎄☃️
My biggest and best creation to date!!
Meet Fred. He’s the grand old age of 3 weeks and 2 days!
He is partly the reason for Twine After Twine. I’d had a miscarriage a couple of years ago and started crafting as something to do to keep my mind occupied. I ended up surrounded by hundreds of twine covered hearts (ok maybe about 70!) and thought I’d better do something with them! Twine After Twine was born.
It remained my calming space during three more miscarriages and IVF treatment, which resulted with little man Fred.
We’re spending the next month or two just concentrating on spending time as a family as Mummy and Daddy wander around like zombies, but hopefully back up and crafting by November in time for Christmas Fairs.
Will keep you informed where we’ll be as you never know, there may be a guest appearance from my own angry little Elf (if he has to wait more than a minute for a bottle).
If you are going through a stressful period, I highly recommend a little bit of crafting or anything that keeps your hands busy as it’s very therapeutic and helps still your mind, and enables you to process whatever is going on around you.
Wishing you a happy weekend. We’re off for more snuggle time 🥰
Catford Fire and I will be taking part in CorbFest this year! We loved last summer and the Christmas Fair in November. Lovely vibe at both events. Please come along and say hi! Will have a couple of new offerings (including an upcycled option!) suitable for home decoration and weddings!

Please, please help.
I know this isn’t anything Twine related 🤣 but it’s too important not to share.
The government have overturned the the decision to allow use of neonicotinoid pesticides on sugar crops. This is a devastating step backwards in the health of our climate. We need Bees to survive. It’s that serious.
It’s also opening a door to a very slippery slope, if they u turn on this, what other crops will need it next year, and the year after?
Academic and author, Professor Dave Goulson, has warned that one teaspoon of neonic is enough to kill 1.25 billion honeybees, equivalent to four lorryloads.
Some of you know I work with
We are not taking this lying down, it’s too important not just for us but for our next generation.
We (wonderful boss lady Emily) have created a petition, we need 100,000 signatures to get this in front of Parliament. You might have seen similar petitions before but please sign this one. The more the government get, the better.
This is too important to scroll past. We need your help please 🙏
Please also share, share, share!
On behalf of the bees and our future generations, thank you so much 🥰 🐝
