Abbeyfeale Youth Clubs

Hi all thanks to the people who have confirmed for the film project. There are still some places available. If anyone wants to sign up.
The plan is to meet the facilitator at the Glorach at 7pm Friday. The class will be until 9pm. The course will run for 6 weeks. There will be an introduction to the equipment film making, a look at films made by other youth groups 2 weeks of animation and a film will be made by the group. The kids will decide what the film will be about and don't need to act if they don't wish. Final date for names is Thursday at 5pm. Call Aoife 0879542361 if interested. Thanks for your support.

2 nd year youth club will be returning in a few weeks in the sports complex Abbeyfeale due to works be carried out in st itas hall .
In the meantime Cara founded by local ladies Aoife Keogh and Noreen Cotter have asked the youth club to take park in an exciting new project . It’s only open to 15 registered youth club members it will run for 6 weeks in the Glorach Theatre Abbeyfeale starting on November the 10 th . Cara has received funding for a film project. This will be facilitated by limerick creative arts . The youths will learn about film making and create a short film .it will be shown as part of Cruinnui na nog 2024 . How exciting . It’s free to youth club members but only 15 spaces available. So book your name fast as not to be disappointed. You can contact me noreen on 087 2353306 asap . This is a wonderful opportunity for our youths . We hope to do more projects with Cara .

Attention parents/guardians of current 1 st year students. we need your help to get our 1 st year youth club up and running . We meet 1 evening a week for an hour and a half . As st itas is currently closed for renovations until the new year . We will be holding club in the sports complex in Abbeyfeale on the Gaa grounds . If anyone is interested in helping out or has any questions you can contact me .if we don’t get enough help club can’t go ahead .

A Big Thank You to Abbeyfeale Fire Brigade . Especially Richard , Timmy and Declan for welcoming our 1 st year youth club to the fire station .They showed us different equipment used on call outs to various incidents, it was a mind blowing experience for the youths . They learned important lessons after tonight that they will remember forever . I am speaking from myself and everyone involved in the youth club . These men don’t get enough credit and appreciation for what they do for us, our friends and families . Hope to visit again soon!

We are holding a 1 st year only youth club registration this Thursday the 26th of January from 7 pm to 8 pm In st itas hall , Main Street , abbeyfeale . Parent/ guardian over the age of 18 must attend with the youth registering to complete a form the fee is €10 . Limited spaces available at this time due to lack of leaders . We are still looking for leaders. I would like to thank the parents that volunteered at this time .

This brief information meeting is being held in St itas Hall, Main Street ,Abbeyfeale this Thursday evening the 6 th of October @ 7.30 pm. Hi All, hope everyone is keeping well. Hoping to get youth clubs back up and running in the coming weeks and months after the long break due to covid. We are calling on all parents/guardians of current first/second/third year students or previous youth club members who are now over the age of 18 who would be willing to give a helping hand weekly for an hour and a half at our youth clubs. We need the help of you, the parent/guardian so the youth clubs can go ahead and allow the youths to meet their friends in a safe, supervised facility.
