That Philly Faith Podcast
We are restored to the Father by the atoning Grace of the Son, but to what kind of life are we being
It's time to talk the walk again!
You know what that means. The latest episode of 'That Philly Faith Podcast' is now available:
Ep. 20 - The Fork in the Road, Part One: A Coming Storm
This week we talk about honoring the Name of the Most High above our own, how that relates to humility, and Chris shares how Abba used his Amazon Music playlist to teach him the importance of total sanctification.
Following that and our featured song for the week ("Church for Sale" by Exodus Road Band), we discuss 1 Kings 18, the proverbial fork in the road, and a warning pressed upon Carl about an approaching storm.

Be firmly rooted in the Rock. Not a theologically compromised version of the "rock". Him as He truly is β His will, His Way.
"You are my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation." β Psalm 89:26
Joseph had to be trampled upon by his brothers and do time in the dungeon before he could be lifted up to his ultimate purpose.
Remember that, remain humble, don't be embittered by the ugliness of your brothers, and be willing to bend low to reach higher.
Abba sees, and it matters to Him.
β the REAL Jesus.

There's no one reading this that I don't love enough to risk being hated in return for telling you the truth.
I will go any length to get you into the seat in the Wedding Feast reserved just for you.
Any length...

This.
Abraham had the faith to go to Canaan when called, but he lacked the faith to stay when famine struck. He ran to Egypt where there was plenty physically, but nothing spiritually. Abraham recovered from this, and experienced restoration, but there were consequences.
The lesson:
It is ALWAYS better to trust Abba and weather the "famine" in your land of promise, than to flee to the land of backsliding where it seems to be "good and well watered". Believe me β I know...
Carry the torch!
Rejecting teaching that endorses disobeying the Father's instructions is not "ignorance". It's discernment.
Follow Him and NO ONE else, even if that means following Him alone.
[1 Kings 22]
Biblically, the Holy Day called is ALWAYS the first Sunday following Passover, and THAT was the day the tomb was found empty β the day Yeshua (Jesus) was revealed as the "firstfruits" of those that believe. Glory to the Most High, our Redeemer!
Happy Firstfruits! π
"Do THIS in remembrance of Me."
[Luke 22 β It's not "just for the Jews"]
If Jesus' solution to sin (as defined by the Law) was to legalize it, then He NEVER would have allowed His blood to be shed. It wouldn't have been necessary.
Dying as our PASSOVER Lamb, as He DID, clearly demonstrates BOTH the love of the Most High for us AND the severity of the sin which His holiness cannot tolerate.
Stop repeating the rebelliousness that led to the nails to begin with.
[Jeremiah 31:33; Matthew 6:33]
Ezekiel 2
Don't be part of the crowd that hates His whole Truth (from Genesis to Revelation). Be the one willing to be hated for speaking it.
