A book lovers' oasis, this one-bedroom loft (with a sleeper couch downstairs if you want to bring a friend along) offers a two-story library for guests to peruse. Filled with bright pops of color, interesting art, and tons of natural light—thanks to the double-height windows—the home makes for an ideal home base at the border of the 14th and 6th arrondissements. It's just a few blocks from the Jardin du Luxembourg, the Paris catacombs, and the underrated Fondation Cartier pour l'Art Contemporain.

Airbnbs in Sonoma and Napa Counties are a dime a dozen, but finding one on a vineyard is a little harder to manage. This three-bedroom home is surrounded on all sides by neighboring wineries' vines, and offers plenty of chances to get outside and enjoy the grape-filled view. There's a private pool, bocce court, outdoor dining room, and more. Plus, if you're really craving wine from the source, a number of tasting rooms are within walking distance. Inside the home, you'll have access to a kitchen stocked with all the pots, pans, and utensils you need and living space big enough to host the whole family.

An hour outside of Melbourne, the Yarra Valley was named one of the best wine regions to visit in 2019. It's also one of our favorite day trips from the city, but we recommend extending your stay with a few nights at this quaint home on the Soumah vineyard, known for its Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. If you're visiting on a weekday, you can elect to just book part of the house, turning it into a one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment with access to the kitchen, living room, and outdoor grill. On weekends and over holidays, you'll have to book the whole thing. Either way, you're steps from the rows of grapevines, the vineyard's tasting room, and the on-site restaurant.
