Is it too early to mention the c word 🙄
Starting to Catalogue the new pieces. The admin is always my least favourite part of the process. Just need to think of a name for it…
Finally finished something new. This heavily painted and weathered board was cut in two (the other picture still under construction 🙄) and makes a perfect sea and sky. I’m not sure why I struggle more with pictures, maybe because they are so much flatter - hence I do t do many of them.
Here’s a throwback to a lighthouse I made a while ago with some amazing textured wood for the sea.
On location yesterday to finalise some exhibition details so couldn’t resist a like for like shot. Details of the exhibition with coming soon. And I’ll finally post a picture of the full piece.
Progress being made! The unveiling will happen Friday 10th May afternoon so fingers crossed for good weather.
Some amazing inspiration while on my trip to the Dorset Coast. Also living my my best farrow and ball life seeing all the places where my favourite paint brand gets a lot of it names.
New project! I’ve been quiet for a while but I’m back with an exciting couple of projects this year. As part of the project with I will be having an exhibition in May. More details and progress updates to follow!
Trying to figure out a name for this piece… sometimes that’s the hardest part 😆.
Amazing inspiration from my weekend trip to Weymouth. Unfortunately the beach was mobbed so didn’t manage any beach combing 😞
This is a lovely commission I did last year and just realised I never got round to sharing it
As we are not getting much of a summer this year, here’s a winter scene. ?
I have had this paintbrush handle in my stash for a while now as I wasn’t quite sure what to do with it. In the end I went with simplicity.
Would love to be somewhere tropical right now with a beach hut and palm tree.
Finally working on some new pieces. Will be cataloging them this week then will be added to Etsy
feeling the summer today and this harbour side hotel would be a perfect destination.
I loved this simple modern design with the bright turquoise inside frame. I just keep forgetting to get more ply to make the frame for another one 🤦🏻♀️.
I was very fortunate to get a load of burr off cuts a while ago and they make the best cliff edges.
♻️
Just a little boat with a lot of personality.
Any one else already feeling autumnal?
I found the perfect beach! Shame it’s over 6000 miles from where I live ☹️
Finally used this piece of wood I found on Crosby beach earlier this year. It’s been a while since I’ve made a little village..
Just a little boat riding the waves
One of the lovely things About doing this is I get to make presents for my family and friends. These ‘bridges’ bookend were for a special little girls 1st birthday. Tried to make them as child friendly as I could 😬.
