It’s Day 4 of our program, and I really want to know - how do you feel? Comment below.

I want to make sure you're starting to come out of the detox fog. At this point, you should be feeling better. You might notice that the mental fog has lifted, or that you have more energy.

You also might notice that you don't miss your daily glass of wine or afternoon latte as much as you thought you would.

You might even notice that you genuinely like some of the healthier habits you've been practicing this week - I know I always love having my morning hot lemon water in my routine.

As we head into the homestretch, I want you to know that I'm proud of you for sticking with this detox program! It's going to be worth it, I promise!

If you can take a minute to give me an update, I’d really appreciate it!

Day 3 can be challenging because you might not feel that great, and you might be ready to give up. It's possible you'll have a wide range of emotions today, and I want to let you know that whatever you are feeling is totally fine. That said, I don’t want you to give up! You can get through a tough day or two - I know you are strong enough.



If you're struggling, I recommend re-connecting to your why. Maybe your why is so that when you open your closet in the morning, you feel good about the clothes you have there. Maybe your why is so that you're setting a good example for your friends and/or family. Or, maybe your why is more about creating time and space to take care of yourself for a change.



Whatever your WHY is for doing the detox this week, take a few moments today to jot down what it is that brought you to the detox, and recommit to that for the next few days. You can share your why here if you would like.

I want to be honest with you - today and tomorrow might feel a little rough. That’s because you may end up going through withdrawals from the foods we’ve eliminated for these five days, and because stored toxins are starting to be processed through your body. Feeling bad is actually a sign the detox is working!



Not to worry - I have some great strategies for you to boost your energy the next few days:

Drink lots and lots and lots of water. Then drink some more. Water helps flush your body of toxins, so when you’re starting to feel yucky, drink a glass of water.
Get outside and get some fresh air. Take a brisk walk, or just step outside and take 10 deep breaths.
Get moving. Exercise activates the lymphatic system, which moves toxins so they can be excreted by your breath, through your sweat, or by our body’s elimination processes.
Take a meditation break. Box breathe for a bit. Focus on your breath, then think about inhaling for the count of four, holding your breathe for the count of four, exhaling for the count of four then keep the air out for the count of four.

I know this detox is a lot about nutrition but dont neglect to do the self-care components of the detox as well. They are just as important. I played Ultimate Frisbee last night and there are some little nagging things going on but.....I am hopping in the sauna right now to take the first steps of self care and deep tissue recovery.
