I know it's hard 😆

On a scale of 1-10 (1 being you look at a plant and it wilts), I would say I'm creeping up to being a strong 6 these days. Maybe mostly because I chose to own plants that are pretty hardy and easy to care for haha! What about you, comment with your number on a scale of 1-10 below. 🌱👇🏽

Even if you feel your room is flooded with light, you can be the master of it and use your window treatments, paint colours and artificial lighting to control it.

I see it all too often. You can use whichever colours you like, but pay attention to the undertones you have in the various colours you are using, it will be a huge indicator as to wether those colours are going to play nicely together. It will also dictate how your colour choices will work (or not work) with the light you have coming into your space. Ok guys, I hate to do this but... Repeat after me, a random wall painted in a different colour from the rest of the room is not a feature, it's a wall... painted a different colour.

This is a bedroom from one of the first Airbnb properties I renovated, many years ago. Very much still in love with the sulking room pink. And the pendant adds some much needed edge.
