1) You aren’t you when you’re … sleepy! 😴 Your body will lose muscle, put on more fat and make you sicker and weaker with less sleep. Make sure you’re getting enough sleep to proper nourish your body.
2) Everything runs on H2O 🌧️ Don’t sleep (get it) on water. It can help spread nutrients to your body, reduce blood pressure and prevent inflammation.
3 & 4) If you don’t use it, you lose it 🏋️♂️ Make sure you are moving your body properly and efficiently everyday. That means getting enough steps in to promote cardiovascular health and working out to prevent muscle loss. 💪
5) The most important 💙 Never give up on yourself or your dreams. No more negative thoughts or self doubt. If you are going to change your body, you must first change your mindset 🧠

📣 Heard this quote on a podcast the other day and it really got to me. Recently I’ve been seeing the gym as a chore but then I heard this quote. Now when I step foot in the gym it’s for a purpose. It’s for my mental health. It’s my escape. 🏋️♂️

🚴💨 The weather was not something fun to run in today so I opted for some bike cardio on my cardio day. I think my legs responded well. 💪🏼

🍔 You can eat McDonald’s and still lose weight?!
🔑 You can in fact eat anything you want and still lose weight. The key is to burn more calories than you eat. So if you burn 2,000 calories a day and you eat 1,800 calories - you can expect to lose 1lb a week.
💡 I took the challenge of finding the “healthiest” foods at McDonald’s so that you can still achieve your weight loss goals. The foods are grouped by the fewest calorie items that still had adequate protein. Because protein is key to not only building muscle but to feeling fuller longer.
⚠️ I don’t claim that McDonald’s is healthy. Instead I want to highlight that losing weight is possible no matter what foods are available around you. ⚠️

👽 Life update. 11/9/22
💪🏻 fitness has been good. I’ve been lifting twice a week and running three times a week.
🏋️♂️ weight has gone down to 166. A new low. Goal weight of 155-160.
