Day five: My platform 💕🪩

I am so proud of my platform and what it has become 🥰 I have worked so hard to get it to where it is now!

Fun fact: My platform originally started out as crowns against cancer and then turned to something much more when I realized how many people I could help ❤️

Day four: My Favorite Part of Competition!

My LEAST favorite part of pageants used to be formal wear… I absolutely dreaded going on stage, walking in front of people & being judged!

Then I became determined… I started practicing for HOURS every single day before my first POA nationals and I took best in formal wear💓

I now LOVE formal wear 🥰

I do have to say Interview is my absolute favorite part! I love to talk about my passions to people who want to know all about me ✨🪩 Something about interview feels so natural!

Day three: Pageant besties 🎉

Pageants have brought me some of my closest friends 💓

Jamie was my VERY first pageant friend & one of my longest friends 🥰 I am so glad she was able to help with my crowning moment 💗

Lainey has been my sister queen for three years and we have stuck together like glue 🤞🏼 I am so thankful we have spent our years together 💕

My biggest supporters are my mom and Lucas 😊 I am so beyond thankful for them! ❤️

Day two!

Why do I compete in pageants?
To gain confidence! ✨

I would not be who I am today without pageantry! 🥰

In middle school and high school I was extremely shy.
I would look down when I walked in the halls and nearly have a panic attack if my name was called in class.

Today I will confidently speak on a stage infront of hundreds if not thousands of people about my passions 💓

One fun fact about me is that I am a co-owner of a rental company called Illumination Rentals! 🎉

Pageants really gave me the entrepreneurial mindset 😋

Did you know 1 in 4 adults in the United States have a physical disability. Many of these individuals suffer from invisible disabilities like myself!

I am so lucky to be sponsored by Apex Ski Boots during my reign of POA Miss Minnesota Ambassador & show others how I’m overcoming! 💪🏼

Apex boots have detachable chassis which make it much easier to walk around when going to lunch and taking (many needed) breaks! They also use the amazing BOA system which is amazing for people like myself who struggle to put their boots on! I truly hope that many others like myself have the opportunity to get back out on the mountain because of Apex boots!

One big reason I’m so excited is because APEX Boots are unlike any other, they are extremely comfortable and very easy for people with disabilities/chronic pain/illness to wear. Saturday I had the chance to be in a local parade to celebrate Memeorial day! My favorite float was a semi pulling a memorial for soldiers ❤️

My platform has become my pride & joy!

I have spent years building it into something I love to preach about and am proud to represent 💓 Strength By Faith was created to help people just like myself and my family! I personally suffer from multiple chronic illnesses and auto immune diseases.

Having a community to hold me up and support me was a saving grace during hard times and I wanted that for others!! Being able to provide this for others has brought me such joy 💗 I am proud to have been able to bring it to a national scale and help others in almost every state have a constant support line!

Did you know my Relay for Life team raised $29,992 for the American cancer society?!

I went door to door, sold raffle tickets, painted faces and poured my heart and soul into this event 💓

All to honor my beautiful mom!!

I am so excited for the next Relay!

Did you know I created something called “Post-It’s of Love”? I created this movement during the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic to spread love and positivity everywhere.

My freshman year of college I became extremely ill. I was having anaphylaxis every single day, not able to eat, and in constant pain. Flash forward to July 6th 2020, after staying at Mayo for almost two weeks I met a doctor who finally LISTENED!

On July 6th I was diagnosed with not one but multiple chronic illnesses after being told I was “faking it” for such a long time.

I suffer from Mast cell activation syndrome🦠, Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome 🧂(POTS), Celiacs disease 🥨, chronic lymes disease, and Endometriosis.

It has been a long haul to get to where I am today, but I now advocate for others like myself through my support group for the chronically Ill & disabled!

Never be afraid to speak up when you know something is wrong! & be sure to hug your friends with chronic illness they need it💓

February is heart health month! ❤️

This month is near and dear to my heart as many of my family members have heart issues💕

I always take the needed step to have a healthy heart! This month I have been super active, hiking, skiing, and exploring the outdoors⛷

What’s your favorite activity to keep your heart healthy? 🎉

Hiked to Wild bill lake ~ wild bill lake is man made, it is stocked with rainbow trout regularly! 🌈

It even had a dance platform right next to it back in the day and a heating barrel!

Hiking has always been one of my favorite activities, it has been harder since being diagnosed with POTS but I am working on overcoming the obstacles 🥰

I am so happy to be in Minnetrista, MN to crown the next POA Miss Minnesota Ambassador! I thought I’d be sad to give up the crown but I’m not! Im sooo excited to see who gets it next!

I had some leftover baking supplies from a recent project so I made these! I’m going to give them to people in my neighborhood!

I had such a great time organizing goodies for The Joy Project! I helped organize over 1,000 goodies that will be served with a yummy Christmas Eve meal! It’s all to help people in need in Fargo and Moorhead!

It was a great afternoon helping the kids at Bright Sky Apartments make gifts for their families! We made cookie mix in a jar and then decorated gift bags! Thank you to my family and friends who volunteered! And thank you, Karma for Cara, for funding this project! The kids had a great time too! I’m so glad they have gifts to put under the tree for their families!

Today I helped bake cookies for The Joy Project! Every Christmas Eve we help families in our community with dinner, desserts, and gifts. It’s fun and has become our tradition.

I had such a great time today! Thanks to my grant from Karma for Cara, I was able to host a MERRY AND BRIGHT breakfast with Mrs. Claus! We served families receiving services from Churches United. It was so much fun and the kids loved meeting Mrs. Claus!

Thank you so much to Karma for Cara, I was able to shop for supplies for my next event at Bright Sky Apartments (Churches United)! I’m hosting “Breakfast with Mrs. Claus” for the kids! Thanks to my sister for pushing the cart while I picked out good deals!
