K’COZY HOMESTAY
INTRODUCTION
My name is Khanh Ngo. I was born in 1977 and am a single mom of two beautiful children, a daughter and a son. in Business Administration and own my own business in the aesthetics industry. I am Vietnamese by origin, having moved to Campbell River, BC, Canada in 2010. Being an immigrant, with no family close by, I can truly understand the potential for feelings of lone
liness and homesickness, and how these feelings can be minimized by being in a safe, caring home and being welcomed by the community. I speak Vietnamese and English fluently. I can also understand and speak a bit of French. Meanwhile, my children are fluent in both English and French. I love to eat; food is so important to me. I love to cook; cooking is one of my love languages. People say I am an excellent cook and enjoy having me cook for them. I cannot wait to cook for you and provide you with healthy, delicious meals! My specialty is Vietnamese food; Vietnamese cuisine is not only something that I am proud of, but it is also popular and appreciated throughout the world! I am very much looking forward to learning about your food preferences and cooking for you. I am a free-spirit kind of person; I love to travel and learn about new cultures and different ways of life. I have been to sixteen countries and plan for more. My love of travelling has convinced me that unique experiences are the key to an exceptional trip, and I aim to facilitate these experiences for you. It is a blessing to live in such a beautiful country Canada, British Columbia, particularly Campbell River. We have so many tourist attractions and local places of natural beauty and cultural interest. The kids and I cannot wait to show them off to you! I hold both old-school and modern values. Family is very important to me; I grew up in a big and traditional family. In my role as the leader of my household, I always open my ears and heart, listen to my children’s voices and tend to their needs. I am open-minded and love to think outside the box. My goal is to build a strong foundation and a happy home where everyone bonds and is valued. The kids and I cannot wait to have you a part of our happy family! Vietnamese people are known for being friendly and hospitable, and I pride myself on exhibiting these characteristics. I like to see growth in all aspects of life; personal, career and social relationships. I am reliable, a good communicator and believe in commitment. It is my great honor to be a trusted part of the diverse Campbell River Schools INTERNATIONAL – Vancouver Island Canada homestay community. I warmly welcome you to K’Cozy Homestay!
