Loved our visit to ! Beautiful scenery and surprisingly delicious wines. We had a hard time agreeing on a bottle! We loved the Chardonnay Reserve, Traminette (even if you aren’t a fan, just trust us), Acacia Gold, Fincastle 1772 and Cab Franc!
A stop at was well worth it just for the amazing views. Looking forward to returning after July when they start serving their high altitude estate wines.
Wonderful day of wine tasting at , and . But the highlight of the day was by far our visit to . Jacob was the perfect guide for our tasting and the wines were varied and complex (highly recommend the Seyval Blanc and Estate Norton). We even got a special tour of their winemaking facility and barrel storage from the fabulous Jeannine, their director of guest relations, whose knowledge of and passion for their product was palpable. It was a treat! Details to come on the blog.
